Anyone else on the quest to get to every MLB park before they check out? I've been working on this for years and usually hit one new park a year. Last year I was able to check off 3 (Rockies, Mets and Red Sox). This year I may be able to knock out two new ones (Brewers and Yankees) and one that has been remodeled since I was there last (White Sox).

These are the parks I have been to:

Cleveland Stadium
Jacob's Field
Tiger Stadium
Comerica Park
Three Rivers
PNC Park
Riverfront
Bank of America Ballpark
Wrigley Field
New Comiskey
Dodger Stadium
New Busch Stadium
Shea Stadium
Citi Field
Old Yankee Stadium
Sky Dome
Coors Field
Fenway Park
Citizen's Bank Park

I had an old dream yrs. ago of getting a hat of every team in all the 4 major sports leagues. Best of luck to you in reaching your goal.

I do have a hat for every MLB team. I finally got a Rockies hat, last year. That was the last one I needed.

It's so damn difficult with new ones going up at the frequency they did. I may eventually try and tackle this - I'm only 32. I think I can knock off 6 of 7 of the current ones from my list, but of course that'll probably be different in 5 years.

I think from here on out, i'm not going to try to new ballpark, if I have already been to that city. If it happens, it happens, but I won't make it a requirement. My sister lives in NYC and I am planning on visiting her this summer. If it wasn't for that, I would not be in a hurry to see new Yankee Stadium. I saw the original.

That's a good idea. Unless you have a pretty big bankroll or a job that requires a hell of a lot of travel, it'd be difficult to have hit every one all at once while they're still active. The active ones I've hit are:

The Jake
Comerica
Citizen's Bank
PNC
Nationals Park
Great American Park
Wrigley
Guaranteed Rate Field (was US Cellular at the time, but same ballpark)
Turner Field (still counts, I'll say)

I should reasonably be able to make a game in Houston, New York, and maybe Los Angeles this year, but I think the one I haven't hit yet that I'd really like to is Chase Field down in Arizona.

It seems like teams want to build new stadiums every 15-20 years now. I am going to have a hard enough time knocking the remaining parks out, let alone to double back on cities.

How did you like the Nats park?

Nats park was fun. I was exhausted because I essentially pulled an all-nighter the night before, but it was one of the "Pups in the Park" days, so that was really cool. The stadium itself was really nice, as well. We sat out in right field and the views were solid.

Absolutely! Visiting every MLB park is at the top of my bucket list. So far, I've been to the following:

Turner Field
Nationals Park
Camden Yards
Fenway Park
Wrigley Field
Miller Park
Target Field
Kauffman Stadium
Coors Field
Minute Maid Park
Dodger Stadium
Great America Ballpark
U.S. Cellular Field (White Sox)

Eight of those I was able to go to because of my previous job. Now that I live near DC, I've been able to knock off Nationals Park and Camden Yards. This year, my goal is to add PNC Park and Philly to my list. My Dodgers play the Phillies in Philly on my birthday, so I'm pretty pumped about that one.

Of these parks, Dodger Stadium was my favorite experience (went behind the scenes, met Kenley Jansen and Tommy Lasorda, got to go on the field, etc.). The coolest stadium was definitely Kauffman Stadium.

PNC is a great park. It is probably my favorite of the modern parks I have been to.

Fact is, if you were in Wrigley 3 years ago, it isn't even close to the same experience now. The venue outside the ballpark is pretty much as always and there are parts that can't ever change but the outfield and the signs and Jumbotrons have really modified the place.

I'm trying to do this too! My brother and I are doing it together actually. We've been to 14:
Great American BallPark, Cincinnati
Nationals Park, Washington, DC
Oriole Park at Camden Yards, Baltimore
Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia
PNC Park, Pittsburgh
Busch Stadium, St. Louis
Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City
Globe Life Park, Arlington
Minute Maid Park, Houston
Comerica Park, Detroit
Wrigley Field, Chicago
Target Field, Minnesota
Miller Park, Milwaukee
U.S. Cellular Field, Chicago (Now Guaranteed Rate Field)

A nice bonus is getting to see all these big cities and additional monuments, etc along the way!
