How are you incapable of grasping the concept that I do not have any interest in discussing it with you?

You are a chickenshit pea brained Tom Brady cock sucker who is incapable to put aside your obsession with Brady and the Cheatriots and discuss facts like a grown up man.

Now move along dumb fuck.

More childish response by you. You made a claim, and now you simply can't back said claim up, so you resort to acting like a petulant child. Something that has been pointed out my numerous posters on these boards.

I can agree with you there. What I will never be able to agree with is that Tom Brady is a better QB than Aaron Rodgers. Tom Brady has certainly been more successful and it's impossible to argue otherwise. I just think, like the majority of non Patriots fans, that the majority of Tom's success has come from his circumstances and not his skillset. Although in a true discussion one of Tommy's skillsets that has certainly controlled his destiny is the fact that he has ice in his veins and doesn't fold under pressure. But when it comes to other skillsets important to be a GOAT, Tommy falls short or doesn't lead the pack by any stretch.

I lived outside of New England for the last 4 years, and just moved back. I disagree with this idea that the majority of non-Patriots fans think that the majority of his success is not attributed to his skillset. I was surprised by the overwhelming respect that people outside of New England have for Brady. Probably because most of the interactions I had with people outside of NE was on the internet prior to leaving for a while.

I think a lot of people surround themselves with like-minded people. Also, if you have a passionate stance about something, it's easy to convince someone when there is no one else arguing the opposite point with an equally strong point of view.

What other skillsets does Brady need to be the GOAT, in your opinion? If we're just going by who is the most talented, then that's one thing. But results are what matter, and Brady has the stats, the championships, and the longevity.

I also think that the majority of sports fans watch ESPN and get brainwashed by their ballwashing.

I talk to people of all walks of life. Brady certainly get and deserve his respect. But that is a whole different story from calling him the GOAT. Brady, without a doubt has cemented himself as one of the Greatest of all-time.

I just think once you get in that discussion it has to be more of a comparison that involves the player and his attributes instead of the mindless notion that a team statistic makes someone better than Dan Marino
.

The Patriots had a shitty D in 2014. But everyone knows the Seahawks lost that game instead of Brady winning it. If you don't like that then Malcolm Butler won it..... Not Brady. Or bellichick..... Not Brady.

Compare Rodgers d in super bowl winning years with Brady's 1st 3..

The fudge Packer only has one ring and he got to play the Squeelers in the SB :L

37 of 50 for 328yds and 4 TD's says Brady took it from the legion of gloom.

Indeed. Tom Brady had an excellent game against a DECIMATED Seattle secondary. However, everyone with a brain that isn't tainted by Tom Brady's semen knows the Seahawks choked that game away.

If you sit back and shut the fuck up you might be able to observe it.

And the childishness by you continues.

You made a comment, and I asked for an example. Instead of listing an example to be examined by all, you resorted to acting like a petulant child.

Jim Plunkett won two, Doug Williams won 1, Brad Johnson won 1.

There's been 50 SBs, we're now up to 6 that didn't have great QBs, so you can't name 45.

Plunkett was damned good, we just spent a week discussing if Eli is a HOF QB (don't agree but he ain't no Brad Johnson). I never claimed you had to have a HOF or even a great QB, just the Dilfer/Brad Johnson/Peyton '16 examples are dumb because you have at most a handful of examples where there are clearly at least 40-45 that went the other way. And of course we are about to add one more.

Agreed partially on the first part. I think people hear what they want to hear, and that skews things.

To your last point:

We aren't talking about just saying "Player A won 4 championships, Player B won 2, therefore Player A is automatically better."

I don't think Bradshaw is better than Manning, for example.

We are talking about using the full body of work to come to a conclusion. Brady has the accolades, the stats, the longevity, and the championships. Combine all the factors, and he's the best.

Do I think that Brad Johnson is better than Dan Marino? Obviously not. Do I knock Dan Marino down a couple notches for never winning a championship? Absolutely. And not just because he didn't win a championship, because he never put together a playoff run where HE played well throughout. The Dolphins went 1-9 when he threw multiple INTs and 7-1 when he threw 1 or 0. It should absolutely be a huge knock on Marino that he never put together the 3/4 playoff game performances to win a championship.

If you are looking at the FULL body of work you have to look at the fact that Brady was a game manager in his 1st three Super Bowls and that he has a career tainted by controversy and cheating.
