A mellow fellow
I noticed that too. I think Saban has had a master plan all along. Maybe I'm thinking too hard, but with Sark calling plays now, Clemson will undoubtably at least have to scan some old USC film to look up his tendencies. Not to mention, I'm betting Clemson doesn't make the mistake of not accounting for OJ Howard. I'm guessing Clemson runs a lot of Cover 4 and Cover 1 Man this time around. Cover 2 got their asses torched last year.I didn't see a single WR bubble screen or jet sweep last night. I think it was by design and Saban wanted to play the whole game close to the vest. Not really sure why we went away from that strategy. It worked well this season making opposing defenses run sideline to sideline in the 1st half, setting them up to pound them between the tackles in the 2nd half. It's one reason I'm not drinking the orange koolaid everyone else is drinking concerning our offense last night.Thoughts?
Watson hasn't been nearly as good this season as last year. As long as our playcalling remains unpredictable, yet logical, we will win.
I'll say 27-17 Alabama.
