A lot of shorter guys still play outside in HS if they are really fast. I'd be shocked if he ended up as a most of the time outside WR in college.

White isnt a 6'4-6'5 (I think he's 6'1, Maybe 6'2) type guy but he still is a "bigger" bodied WR, but yea he is a guy who will probably move around in and out.

EGW definitely fits the H-Back role, I know he was a dynamic offensive player in high school, we will see how it goes. I'd expect McCall to get the first crack there though, he looked really explosive in the garbage times we got to see him. I think I saw somewhere too it's likely that KJ Hill will probably get some time in the H-Back role as well. Certainly nice to have options.
I'm expecting huge things from McCall this year. He is one of the most electrifying guys we've had since Ginn, the types who can hit a HR every time they touch the ball. I don't see him necessarily putting up Samuel's numbers, but I bet he comes close.

I'd rather them leave Hill at WR, he's one of the few true lid-lifters we really have.

EGW could fit the H-Back or slot role, I think. I wouldn't be shocked to see him runs some sweeps and bubble screens as well. We definitely have a dearth of smaller, explosive players.

I also wouldn't sleep on Dobbins seeing some time at H-Back while he works in at RB.

Damn we have talent. So glad we're going to have an OC that knows how to use it.

I totally agree on Hill, I really wish he would have gotten more run this past season, he seemed to be probably the most competent true route runner we had when he was in there.

Kevin Wilson is pretty good at adapting to what he has and putting his players in the best position to succeed, so I believe he will be willing to give different guys a chance if other guys fail (unlike the past 2 years on the offensive side)

Dobbins depends on how well he is healed from his injury, I wouldnt be shocked if he takes a redshirt this year. Him being a early enrolle does help his case for early playing time if he is healthy though.

@Brasky it looks like Tyjon Lindsey is yours. You should try converting him to DB.

LOL the funny thing is we're loaded at DB. WR isn't a HUGE concern. We'll be fine there I think regardless of whether Lindsey decides to come.

It's pass rushers and defensive tackles. I said it on our board and it's agreed upon that we'd trade Calvin and Lindsey for a solid DT and a Pass Rusher.

You and me both. Stacked at WR, lacking at DT.

Solid DT's are hard to come by. Especially ones who can contribute fast.

Pass rushing has been a real weakness since Randy Gregory left too.

So it's looking like OSU, Michigan and Nebraska is going to be poaching a lot of West Coast/Cali recruits away from PAC programs with the way things are going.

Maybe this cycle, but USC is good again all of the sudden. That has put a wall around Los Angeles/SoCal in the past.

@Lions=TeHsUcKs Oh by the way it just came out that Jamire Calvin called the Nebraska staff right after the AA game and told them he'd made a mistake.

Only time they had the complete wall was during the Carroll years. They were good before and Michigan was able to recruit well out west.

When people had to console Calvin after he made the decision, you knew something was up.

4* WR Jaylen Harris of Cleveland Heights is announcing this morning at 10AM EST. Widely considered an OSU lean, and provides a mismatch nightmare at 6'5", 210. Finalists are OSU, Penn State and Michigan State.
