I don't think Baylor can get by the game at West Virginia unscathed, but if they do, oh boy. They should roll into Fog Allen Fieldhouse undefeated on February 1st first to play at Kansas.

Gonzaga is now the lone wolf. @ BYU on February 2nd and @ St. Mary's on February 11th appear to be the only two spots where they could conceivably lose during the regular season. If I had to bet, my guess is they enter the WCC Tournament undefeated.

I think they need to run the table to get a #1 seed.

It'll be interesting how the committee will handle Gonzaga, and for instance the ACC Champion. At this point I would project Nova, Kansas and Kentucky as the three teams most likely to be #1 seeds based on resume and who they'll have to compete against moving forward. The ACC is such a gauntlet the regular season champion could conceivably be a 6/7 loss team. But that 6/7 loss team will have probably a dozen top 50 wins. UNC is projected to win the ACC at 13-5, which would put them at 24-7 heading into the ACCT, but they would have 10 wins against the top 50 and 17 against the top 100, those are insane numbers. My guess if this plays out this way is that the ACC will basically get every 2 seed.

I tend to think Gonzaga would be given the 1 seed in that scenario.
