I don't know..it was a nice win...Baylor didn't look to me like a #1 team..

I guess I still have have Steven F Austin bruises healing..Win the Big 12 and get to the final 4 and I'll look back on this win as a the starting point..

I really like this team, no ego, no real star, just a team that shares the ball, shares the wins, work hard, play every minute, don't take time off, just a really good TEAM. I always thought Huggins was a good coach, but not a very good man, IMO he turned a corner when Butler went down against Duke a few years ago, seems to have become a better man. Feeling excited for this team. SFA was a horrible matchup for last years team for sure, they ran right through the press, and we couldn't score. Scoring and making free throws is the biggest difference I see in this years team. plus we seem to be quicker than in previous years.

I'm impressed with the Konate kid...I real shot blocker that they haven't had in some time...big time presence underneath..

I don't know about whether he turned the corner at the Butler game...his kids and the fans at Cinncy would all take a bullet for him...I think our fan base has just gotten to know him better..

I think this team will struggle against bigger bodies underneath the basket..outside of Konate, Mason and Watkins they really don't have anyone that can bang inside.. I think as team they are a better perimeter shooting team...still mystified why a Huggins team can't make free throws....the SFA loss last year looked alot like the loss at Texas Tech last week...they don't play with constant energy this system gets exposed...it plays with maximum effort they may have the ability to beat anyone on a given night..

Great job tonight, keeping focused and actually going to Austin and coming back with a win, yes UT is down this year, but for whatever reason we have had issues down there. Great job coming out on top!!

I rarely had the opportunity to watch the games. I relied on the Die Hard analysis and really miss him. It has been one year to this day since he last posted.

Anyway, this team looks really good so far. I even bought tickets to the Oklahoma and Kansas games. Will be my first bball game in 20 years.

Indeed, he always had a pretty good assessment of the games, even after watching games, I got some good info from his posts. I wonder if something happened to him, or if he just quit posting?

I guess we can blame the OU loss on Another since it is blasphemous to blame a future Hall of Fame HC, with over 800 wins that has base, over the past several years, most of his teams on a pressing philosophy in an attempt to generate more offensive opportunities since they cannot hit jump shots let alone hit free throws. Thanks Another even if you didn't make the game.

As always, this Mountaineer team will go as far as its guard play. For the life of me, I don't understand why Huggs won't recruit kids who can be playmakers on offense.

It seems every Huggs team I've seen has trouble running offense. The past two years, when the press isn't creating TO's, it has shown how mediocre it is in half court defense.

I don't understand why Beetle is getting some PT. Tarik has had zero improvement in his game...

This team has lost 3 games to mediocre competition...why do I smell a first round knock again in the tourney..

Yep. Just like in football.

For some reason, pollsters love WVU. Almost every year, WVU is overrated in both of these sports.

As long as we keep winning 20 games a year.............and get a deep tournament run every 10 years or so, we will be ok.........after all has anyone looked at the recruiting lately, our hall of fame coach and staff is really pulling in a lot of 5 star recruits, wish Dana would take some lessons here from our hall of fame coach......

Amen!

Dana could learn a lot from Huggs. Like how to lose to sub .500 teams in a year when you are ranked in the top 10.

Billy and Huggs have a lot in common when it comes to stuff like that...

Huggs better get his act together, Dan D'Antoni is just a phone call away Huggy, one call.... And he has a brother that coaches in the PROS, like...the NBA!

Shape up or ship out old man.
