Alabama should be number one. They have the better quality loss than Clemson.

Has there ever been a 3 loss team ranked 3rd? FSU was the best 3 loss team and USC getting ranked that high is just stupid. The didn't win their conference, lost by 50 to Bama and barely won there Bowl Game. 3 loss OkieLite looked better in there Bowl Game, then USC. If it's about finishing strong FSU looked better and beat a better team, then USC.

FSU's 100 point loss to Louisville probably plays a bit of a factor considering how far they fell off at the end of the year

Realistically everyone in the top ten after #1 and 2 is pretty debatable. For example your claimed that FSU was the best three loss team then went on to state USC didn't win their conference, Florida Sate didn't win their conference. USC got blown out by Alabama FSU got blown out by Louisville. USC barely won their bowl game, FSU barely won their bowl game.

So why was SC #3 and Florida State #8? Like I say its pretty debatable for 3-10. SC didn't win their conference, but they did beat two conference champions. SC beat the final #4, #7, and #17 teams. FSU had wins over #10, #16, and #20.

So maybe they have SC higher due to beating more top 10 teams than other schools? Personally I always lump em into #1, Top 5, Top 10, Ranked. So it doesn't really matter but I'm bored.

All I know is that Oklahoma would beat USC or Washington and should be ranked 3rd..
That is why Auburn is still ranked with 5 losses because they lost to Oklahoma in the last game.
Thanks.

Seriously though. The highest ranked team Oklahoma beat was #11 oklahoma State and USC beat #4 Washington State and #7 Penn State. USC was playing at a high level at the end of the season and it would be a great game if they could play. Neither of us know who'd win but it's fun to argue. lol

Agree that Oklahoma would beat Washington. As I said in an earlier post, I think any of the other top 11 would beat the Huskies straight up. The Huskies benefited from an easier schedule ((SOS = 53rd) than anyone in the top 20 except Western Michigan, even with 'Bama and USC figured in as 2 and 3.

My top 6 would be:
1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. USC
4. Penn St.
5. Oklahoma
6. Ohio St.

:2cents:

That's freaking hilarious. His point is that Auburn is still ranked #24 after losing to Oklahoma. They were #14 before they played.lol
While Penn State is #7 and Washington is #4 after losing to USC. Doesnt he know that Auburn is still ranked because they are in the SEC not because they lost to Oklahoma.
