Oregon fans rushing the court after that game against UCLA was pretty pathetic imo.

Great win for them though, with Brooks back in his typical form they are a very scary team. Looking good vs. USC too right now.
Oregon students have stormed for years - I think it is dumb, the PAC 12 has but things in place to curb it. Just too lazy to look it up.

What are the chances Brandon Roy replaces Lorenzo Romar after this year???

IMO, that wouldn't blow up next year's class and Romar needs to go. The guy doesn't teach basketball at all.

Not sure about Roy replacing him, but something has to change. We can't lose by 30 to Oregon with the recruiting classes Romar has brought in. He is in over his head...

Getting consistently out coached is getting old. They have no plan when defending and no consistency on offense. I swear they play like a YMCA team.

I cannot get over how explosive UCLA's offense is, it's disgusting.

Has Brandon Roy coached at the college level in any capacity?

No. He's a first year high school coach.

If I were UW, I wouldn't mind bringing him on as an assistant. But bringing in a guy who has one year of experience at the High School level is not what UW needs right now IMO. Hiring a quality coach is worth risking a few recruits in that transition year.

Such a shame his career was cut short because of injuries. He was a freaking stud.
For sure, but everything happens for a reason. Maybe he his playing career being cut short will fuel his coaching career, feeling he has more to give.

I have no clue what they need right now, except a change in coaching. And I think that change needs to happen from the top down. I have no clue how good of a coach Roy is or would be but keeping next years class together would be a big reason to make a change now. Otherwise, we are in for another year of Romar basketball.

Any type of coaching change puts the recruiting class in danger. However, it's clear that UW needs to make a change. There's no point of getting these great recruiting classes if Romar can't win with them. I have no idea who would be on UWs short list but I don't think Roy is the answer.

Great call. I agree. I think he'd be able to land elite players, and be able to win with them, which is something Romar hasn't done. I can't believe UW hasn't been to the tournament since 2011 with all the great players that have come through there in that time frame.

UW looks like an AAU team under Romar

It makes me think that the leadership came from the players, not from the coaching staff.

I've never watched an AAU game, but it literally looks like a YMCA pick up game.

Most of them are unorganized and no defense is played. Pretty much sums up how UW is playing at the moment.

Oregon and Arizona remain undefeated in the PAC.

So here's a question for other posters: Does anyone outside the top 4 (USC, UCLA, Oregon, Arizona) make the NCAA tournament this year from the PAC? Is so, who?

I don't think so. Cal is the only other one
