So the Super Bowl is prob gonna be Pats Cowboys this year.

Valentine has been starting for the Pats. Collins for the Cowboys. Randy will at least be a pass rush specialist.

3 DL who all played together in college playing in the Super Bowl. I guarantee you that's never happened.

Not following this super closely, but isn't he just eligible until his appeal hearing, and then if it is upheld he's suspended again?

They tabled that. No appeal hearing scheduled or impending. Nothing to appeal yet.

The way the NFL operates, they're not gonna let him come back and play only to suspend him the next season for something they had knowledge of prior to his return.

Exactly. If he were going to be suspended again, he already would be.

Still a pretty safe bet he fails another drug test. If he was broke on the streets he'd suck dick for pot. Not crack, pot.
He's shown he's willing to throw it all away for it over and over.

I'll be rooting for him. This is his last chance probably.

Can't disagree with you one bit. The kid has bigger issues than just the ganja. Starting with maturity.

No. He's very mature and intelligent. The fact that he's gotten this far dealing with being bipolar is actually pretty fucking impressive.

Flashback: 'This is not a character issue' -- the story behind Randy Gregory's marijuana use, personality | SportsDay

Having a brother-in-law who is bi-polar and seeing the negative effects pot has had on him (not to mention his unwillingness to own his issues until after he put my wifes' folks through the financial wringer), I really hope he gets the picture that he owns his actions. He has a heck of a story he can tell that could have a positive impact on others in the same boat he is.

I'll just leave it at that.

No doubt. It doesn't surprise me at all that pot would exacerbate a mental disorder. You gotta own your problems and not use them as a crutch.

Exactly. Pot is not only a dangerous drug it's an illegal one also.

Not dangerous for most people and illegal in fewer and fewer places all the time.

The best thing the Cowboys should do is cut him loose. I doubt he is in playing shape.

Maybe he can get his life together once he realizes that he had it all, but he, and only he blew it. Not his Mom, not his Dad, not his college coaches, not his teammates; Randy Gregory fucked up his own life.

He is completely fucked up.
