Yeah, finding a competent (freshman) QB in house was really the positive takeaway for you guys. Don't know what they ever saw in purkup (or whatever the fuck his name is) to not go with the freshman sooner.
Agreed. I thought he was marginal all the way.

What is amazing is that Auburn beats Georgia this season is an A but that loss and the inability to stay healthy caused the season to be a C.

Auburn is playing in the MFer Sugar Bowl and it's a C season.

I actually like the direction of the program but most casual fans don't understand the future potential of this team. The question is can the coaches build on it and that will be 1mm question that has to be answered.

C since we lost a game we should've won by 30+ points in the BIG championship. We were up by 21 points and then shut it down on offense and on defense their hobbit of a QB just chucked shit up for grabs that the DB's would've easily picked off if they just turn their heads around but they didn't and couldn't make one simple adjustment. We should've beat OSU as we were up 16-6 at half and completely owning them but choked in that game as well. If we lose to Western Michigan then I would drop it from a C to a D.

I would have to say an A. Sure we lost in a fairly bad way to USC, but I expected we would go 9-3 on the year, so the year definitely exceeded my expectations.

B+

New coach after several seasons struggling to make a bowl and then play in the ACC CG is above this year's expectations. Offensive improvement with a nice pickup at QB that will return next year, albeit, without a few weapons at WR.

Did have a couple WTF! losses with Cuse and GT, but overall, we had an above average season with reason to look forward to the future and even more improvements. I want to see how Fuente does on the recruiting trail to hopefully bring in more talent and continue to shore up his system.

Were you the Boise fan who at the begging of the season was saying USCs got talent but the head coach (Helton) wasn't good?
Wasn't me, but at the beginning of the season I can't understand how a USC fan couldn't have the same opinion....

It was a dumpster fire after Bama sucked the soul out of SC and players were fighting in the locker room.

An A-...:pound:. UofM got upset by Iowa & once again couldn't beat Ohio State. Finished 3rd in their own division & still give 'em an A-. Classic!

Wasn't the goal to beat Ohio State (failed), win the division (failed) & win the conference crown (failed)?

I was talking about before the season even started . Some people said it was a terrible hire without even knowing anything about Helton. Since he was a new head coach and new assistants most USC fans were in a wait and see mode and were willing to give him some time. We liked what we had seen and heard from Helton when he was interim coach. The bama game was a dumpster fire for sure and the Stanford game was disappointing. At that point most USC fans were starting to doubt but we saw some really good play against Utah and lost in the last minutes. Remember at the point Alabama was #1 , Stanford was ranked and Utah was in the top 10-15 at the time. So the losses weren't unexpected. The story was some kid took a swing at Helton but it was never found out to be true. That kid just was home sick and was allowed to transfer. I don't recall fighting between players.

D+.... would be significantly higher at 9-3 but we completely shit the bed in two of our three losses.

When 4 points separates your team from a perfect season, it's an easy choice.

Nice try but the bottom line is they didn't take care of business when it matter most. And don't be so biased in giving them an A- grade. They failed to accomplish all of their preseason conference goals. In no way do they deserve an A-.

Hence the A MINUS and not A. Hard to grade a top 6 team below that.
