We might be playing Colorado not USC depends on where they rank Buffs after their bad loss. Rather play Colorado then USC especially at Rose Bowl.

USC beat COL in the head to head. Overall, each has 3 losses. I'd rather play USC who's won 8 in a row. COL just got blown out by WSH Friday.

I actually think it's the best game on the slate.A lot of very interesting match ups Two of the hottest teams in college football.And a lot of tradition and history between both teams. I've got a lot of respect for Penn State. This may be the beggining of USC and Penn State getting back to the top of college football. Hopefully next year they continue the progression.And meet again in the play offs

yeah, if we didn't get in, this is one hell of a consolation prize. 2 All Time great programs in the grandaddy of them all. These programs are both on the upswing back to National Powers and this could be most interesting game other than Bama vs whoever wins Clemson/OSU These 2 will both be top 10 to stat next season and hopefully we meet up again in a semifinal or Final next year!!!

Good luck, Penn Staters. Should be an excellent game. Two teams that got off to slow starts but are playing some of the best football in the country right now. Game worthy of the Granddaddy of them all

I love this Penn State vs USC matchup - East vs West. My picks for National Championship in Tampa, Jan. 9, are Ohio State vs Alabama - North vs South. The best of the bowls!

Looks like ticket prices on the secondary market are off the charts for Rose Bowl....$440 was cheapest single available yesterday. In contrast, next highest game was one of playoff matchups and was below $200. All eyes will be on this game Jan 2, and it should be a good show because both teams can put up some points

Thats one of the reasons I like this match up so much. Its got a solid foundation. Two traditional teams both big names with an immense amount of history.In the grand daddy of them all. But they are also two of the hottest teams in college football. I could be wrong it could be a blow out in either direction. But between the talent on each team. We could see a shoot out. Tbh I think this game takes center stage and the ticket prices reflect that. While I do think your Nittany Lions deserved the play offs. The Rose is a major win for SC and PSU. As a trojans fan it will be strange to see Barkley and Marcus Allen playing against SC.

It would be scary if we lead before halftime. I don't think we would come out of the locker room during halftime if that happened.

I come in peace. Just wanting to see what you guys think of the game. I was at the last PSU Vrs USC Rose Bowl a few years back and had a great time with your fans on game day and in the days before (I live min from Pasadena).
I don't know much about your team other than you beat Ohio State which means you are no joke and I did see your game against Wisconsin. A tale of two halfs and better to be the team with the second half.
Your QB looks to have some serious confidence and you have some playmakers at WR and RB. I'm wondering about your defense. Does it have the players to keep the USC skill players in check?

Tale of 2 halves has been story fo season, slow starts and incredible second halves been the norm for this squad. Our defense is a lot better than the last unit you faced in Rose bowl, maybe not in overall talent top to bottom, but the scheme is much better and plays to their strengths. Rotate a lot of DL, LB's are good, but not super deep group and secondary has been good all year.

On offense, the X factor for PSU is Mike Gesecki, TE, kid is a matchup nightmare for any team. We have skill players all over the place, but line has lost several starters. I think it will be a very entertaining game between 2 teams who will be very highly ranked to start next season,

Sounds liek a few players will be out for violation team rules...I'm hearing Bowen name pop up quite a bit, have also heard Blacknall from a few people...nothing concrete, but those are 2 I have heard several places

Y'all feel like Monday is taking forever to get here? Albeit I'm a Trojans fan this is one of the best Bowl games. And quite possibly the best match up on the schedule
