I cannot put a 3rd place B1G team in playoffs over an Oklahoma (which scheduled hard ooc) and went undefeated in conference.

And I like Michigan.

1. Alabama vs 4. Penn State/Wisconsin
2. Clemson vs 3. Washington

I bolded my projected conference champions.

The buckeyes are in. They're one of the 4 best teams. I can't see anything happening that would prevent that.

I would be shocked if ohio state did not get in ... sorry they have earned it. It's a National Championship not a B1G Championship. They played a tough ooc schedule and lost one game. Only Alabama deserves it more.

I am not disagreeing with this part. IMHO the committee will put a value on conference championships as to not discourage tough OOC games.

I guess I didn't put it simply enough. I am biased and I am comfortable being biased. I do try to be objective. If I were choosing which 4 teams should be in the playoffs, they would be Alabama (1), ohio state (2), Clemson (3) and Washington (4). If Clemsons loses (and I were choosing the playoff teams), I would excuse myself from the vote because I would be biased.

Under that mindset Penn States final resume would be 11-2 with a conference championship and a H2H win over Ohio State. Which is why I believe talking heads like Kirk Herbstreit and Robert Smith are panicking.
