That would be awesome...but he's a Texas guy and the Aggies are thought to be the leaders. They and Auburn have been recruiting him the longest. Also, he supposedly has a girlfriend who goes to aTm. I would LOVE IT if we could get him.

Malik Zaire is leaving Notre Dame as a grad transfer. Right now his leaders are Wisconsin, Pitt and UF. He's not the pocket passer Stidham is but he would be a very welcome addition to the roster if we could get him.

Mac will do what it takes to get it done. Poor bastid has recruited half a dozen QBs...didn't get lucky with any's performance except grier. Dammit.

Corch isn't stupid and he'll put it together. I just hope he does before our defense is all in the NFL.

Nuffing. Can't find any practice reports or anything. All the articles say kinda' the same thing:

UF also has Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask, both of whom will be redshirt freshmen in 2017, though neither was apparently ready to have his redshirt removed to play this season, so head coach Jim McElwain may opt for another year of seasoning. The Gators also have four-star Jake Allen (Fort Lauderdale, FL) committed for 2017, though recent play suggests he may not be ready to see the field for a couple years.

Florida has also been linked to Baylor transfer quarterback Jarrett Stidham, who spent the 2016 season at a community college and would be eligible immediately upon signing with a team. Stidham, however, appears to be leaning towards Auburn or Texas A&M; contact with UF and LSU has reportedly been minimal.
