I've been checking the stats and stuff, and the toughest part of our season is about to begin.

Both LSU and Auburn are extremely under-rated. They've been ranked down because of their early losses, but they are both playing like top10 teams right now.

I'd been noticing Auburn and LSU in the top part of stats for a while now and was hoping it was a fluke, but it's looking legit to me now. I so badly wanted the other SEC teams we just finished to actually be the toughest part of the schedule as it previously looked, but now it no longer appears to be the case.

Both Auburn and LSU have top10 defenses, and our offense has been a little 1 dimensional really. Hurts really expands that dimension because of his legs, so it's not like we are 1 dimensional in the traditional way where the other team can just focus in on the RB, but it still provides the defenses a chance of cheating up without being punished. Hurts has been pretty good for the most part all season, but he is about to get tested big time this next month.

And at the same time it appears their offenses are getting better. Yeah sure Ole Miss doesn't have the best defense, neither does Missouri either etc. But they still put up 38 pts on them. And our defense has been suspect at times. The yards we gave up to Arkansas is not the sign of a good defense. We live in feast or famine mode. Most of the times it's been feast, but we have given up big plays at what seems like a much higher rate. This all goes unnoticed because of the NOTS and such, but it makes me worry.

We are better than both teams statistically, but the toughest part of the schedule is still to come unfortunately.

Thankfully we get Auburn in Bryant Denny. And LSU will be tough.

I know that as long a Jalen takes care of the ball, we will win either game with ease. If he's turning the ball over, we are in for a long November. He's been off on a lot of his intermediate passes, some of them being absolutely wide open. He'll hit a deep throw now an then, but to me he seems limited in his passing abilities this year. Kiffin needs to run some more 5 wide and get him accustomed to making 2-3 reads in 3 seconds and then making a decision to pass or scramble. While I do believe he has it in him to be an Alabama legend at QB, I haven't seen it yet on the passing side. I just hope he can figure out something soon because we've got 2 hungry and hot rivals that would love nothing more than to steal the West from Alabama.

I've been watching all year and we haven't played a complete game yet. They were even sloppy against A&M. Sloppy may even be enough to get you by LSU and Auburn...but I thought they were playing cleaner by this time last season (A&M last year was the "ah-ha" moment when they started to come together...still not there yet this year).

That sad moment when your teams loses 49-10, and the other teams fans are still complaining about their team not playing a "complete game" yet.
:sigh:

Oh the irony:

Alabama transfer/Georgia DB Maurice Smith scores a (NOT) to send his former team to Atlanta. Alabama has scored 12 NOTs this season to date.

You can't make this shit up lol

I only remember Miss. St. running 2 plays inside our 30 last night. A sack by Anderson that put them back to the 30 for a missed FG and Tony Brown's interception.

I just wanna say, Anthony Averett has played really fucking well this season. Easily the best a CB has played for us since Dee Milliner.

Stole this off the rant. High quality troll right here.

History will show that the flip of Reuben Foster to Auburn...

Posted August, 2012

History will show that the flip of Rueben Foster to Auburn will go down as the single-most important event in changing the perception of the little/big brother roles in college football in the state of Alabama. Mainly because of what this manchild beast will do inside Jordan-Hare Stadium and the publicity that has surrounded the flip (press conference, tattoo, etc.). Not to mention the laundry list of fellow defensive recruits that are salivating at a chance to play with this wrecking ball on the field. This guy's magnetism and mentality are no different that Cam's. Both are once in a generation players and we'll have had them in Orange in Blue in a span of four years.

I've never seen a time in which truly informed Alabama fans, not the toothleess Wal-Mart Muldykes, have been in such anxiety and agony over the direction of the Auburn Football program. I love every second of it, and they see what's happening and can't do anything about it.

When you treat your players as family members and they play for you out of respect and admiration, things like 28-27 happen. When you have players that fear their coach, see rampant gray-shirting, bogus medical departures and wonder if they will have their scholarship the following year, things like a 24-0 complete meltdown implosion against your hated rival happen. It all starts at the top and Coach Gene Chizik will go down as a legendary coach in college football history, not just Auburn history, Book It. I tell all of the Bammers without hesitation that Coach Gene Chizik will win more national championships at Auburn than Satan will at UTea. If you hook me up to a polygraph while saying it, I would pass because that's how much I believe it to be true.

The perception of Auburn Football in-state and on a national level is changing. September 1st is about to open the country's eyes as to what tenacious Auburn football is all about, and I can't wait to watch the look on little dabo's face. These are great times to be an Auburn Tiger. A dynasty is in the making, and if you don't see it, you don't have a clue. War Damn Chizik and War Damn Eagle.

Some of these "new" low quality trolls we got should take notes.

Finished the regular season with our opponents being the least penalized.

128/128.

cfbstats.com - 2016 National Team Leaders

45 total penalties for 373 yards and an average of 3.8 penalties and 31.1 yards per game.

#1 team - Cal with 107 penalties, 921 yards, average of 8.9 penalties per game and 76.8 yards per game.

Basically double the penalties, almost triple the yards.

And the 127th team still got like 80 yards more in penalties, so we were way the fuck down there. We aren't even close to being 127th.

Absolutely insane. The uncalled holding calls against Tim Williams alone would put a huge dent in that.

Imagine how bad it would've been if the refs weren't in Bama's pockets....

Yeah that's what burns me up the most. How the fuck are all these teams so good against what is probably the best pass rushing team in the country.

I've seen in a couple places that Kiffin will be gone as soon as Sunday and taking the OC job at LSU. Sark will take over OC responsibilities for the playoffs/bowl game.

Albeit these are from message boards, but these guys are connected and have been right more than wrong. One of them was predicting Jalen to either start or play a lot in the first game and then take over as the starter.

So again, TIFWIW

The only thing I really care about as far as this topic goes really is if he steals any recruits.

Other than that, I don't give a fuck really.
