That's why I always thought TAMU would be a great fit for the SEC ... like two peas from the same pod.

It would be easier for us all if you just admitted you ran out of legs to stand on in your rant about how mistreated UW is for being left out of the first BCS ranking of the year.

I was kind of making that point in my 1st one. I think the Committee set themselves up for inconsistency. If Top 5 teams win out, will the Committee stay consistent and have Texas A&M in with a tougher schedule. If so, could an undefeated P5 champion Washington really do anything to get in? Does P5 CCG really matter?

If they have Washington bump Texas A&M (still given Top 5 win out), how do they justify A&M being above them now and not in December? I would say that #4 spot is a far bigger deal than the #5 spot.
Because they wouldn't win their conference.

They justify it because we have a cupcake at the end and our SOS will take a major hit.
No what will "justify" it is, if (big word) the Huskies win out and the Aggies have one loss. The Huskies will go to the playoffs before the Aggies do.

That's where the 8 game vs 9 game conference schedule comes into play. The SEC has 4 OOC games so what they do is schedule one decent OOC game and 3 sisters of the poor. It's how the SEC rolls. Tennessee is a dumpster fire, South Carolina is .. what? Not shit is what. Arky is mediocre at best, Auburn is good and Bama is great. btw if you didn't know TAMU lost to Bama by 3 scores .. ya quality loss when you get curb stomped.

You keep talking about A&M's opponents but not Washington's. Also, most of your post is opinion where I have only given stats.

I personally like Washington more than I do Texas A&M. I think A&M has had a tougher schedule. Iowa was in Washington's place last year. Iowa could not afford to lose a single game if they wanted in CFP. I think CCG is a huge deal. I just think the Committee might have messed up here. If Washington and Alabama goes 13-0, it won't matter what Texas A&M does the rest of the season. Which is opposite of how they feel now.

I feel as though you are incorrectly thinking I'm disagreeing with your point that UW will jump A&M if they both win out. :L

If I'm correct, they don't call it the BCS anymore.

How? At the end of the year UW will have a better SoS most likely. UW is punished for a weak OOC. A&M hasn't played our entire OOC yet.

Because they wouldn't win their conference.

But if you were a Texas A&M fan, wouldn't you be a little pissed if the Committee started off saying your SOS is more important, and then come December you hear "SOS is not that important anymore"? That is what will happen in December.

Or how pissed will you be if 11-1 Texas A&M gets #4 over 13-0 Washington due to SOS? Committee said on Nov 1st that their SOS is more important and they stay consistent to that logic.

Okay fair enough, so we agree that if the Huskies win out they will go to the playyoffs, right?

I am an A&M fan, and I wouldn't be pissed. The SOS would be better because ours will weaken. Plus UW will get a SOS boost in their CG

Curveball. How far would Alabama fall if they lose their CCG by 1 point in regulation? Washington is undefeated, Clemson is undefeated, Michigan is undefeated and the 4th slot open to a 1 loss team?

Well, again, they've shown they put a lot of weight into conference championships and championship games. Also, they're saying right now that SoS is enough of a factor to justify the loss. With USC and WSU left, I don't think it's a stretch to say SoS balanced out a little and now undefeated is more important, at some point.

Depends...do they lose to Kentucky? If so, then out of the top 25.

Okay the I will say I'm sorry and will move on.

haha, fair enough. I said that the only way we get into the playoffs is a two loss Bama which puts A&M in the SECCG and UW loses.
