Bunch of slugs - can't even take care of business while I'm away! :)

And yes, I know it is week 6 for most of you, but I can be forgiven because it will be week 5 for me!

I wish I could predict a blow out but short week on the road usually doesn't do well for the traveling team. Still I think the Broncos know they have to right the ship.

Broncos - 21

Chargers - 20

Offense - 350

I think our offense will get bogged down a bit, but we'll get a defensive TD. Defense is gonna will this win.

The Chargers did everything they could to hand this game to the Broncos. I watched the first half and saw the highlights of the second half. The Broncos did not take advantage of anything and literally let this game slide away.

One little note........now that the Broncos have been taken down a notch, I have a feeling that Von Miller, TJ Ward and Talib are not going to get away with the little cheapies that officials have ignored. Like Miller giving Rivers a little push out of bounds and Talib coming in for a late hit after Gordon was already on the ground. Opposing coaches will start to bitch more and the officials will start to call them out. I'm not calling anyone "dirty", just that because their reputation for hard nosed football, they've been given some slack. I think the slack will be pulled in.

Is that why the Patriots get away with so much cheating? Because they win? If they started losing the NFL wouldn't let them "get away" with it?

Come on Ken.

You are nitpicking, like a little kid getting picked on out at the playground. Yeah, we know you hate Denver because we have gotten the better of the Patriots. We get it. We really do.

But ya really need to quit with the "this team doesn't play fair BS"
Denver isn't getting special treatment for "winning"

We are a very physical team.

^ I think it's evident with 12 penalties, one of them ruling out a late game TD, that nobody is letting the Broncos get away with cheating or playing cheap. On just about EVERY big play the Broncos made they were called for a penalty. I'm not complaining or saying the refs were wrong: they showed the replays and for the most part they seemed like legit penalties. I think this "Denver gets all the calls" narrative is a heap of crap. Especially since Broncos opponents get called for fewer holds than the league average, and that's a statistical anomaly given the Broncos fearsome pass rush.

Yeah was just about to come and say this. I agree the holding penalties looked decently legit. A few of them looked pretty ticky tack but when going by the letter of the law they should have been called. I didn't have a problem with that as long as they were then going to call those same ticky tack calls on the Chargers. Well I didn't see that happening.

As for the Chargers trying to hand us the game I guess you maybe should have watched the 2nd half of the game. Broncos had their chances and just kept making stupid mistakes.

2 fumbles on drives where the Broncos were finally moving the football killing all momentum.
Countless holding penalties calling back some of our biggest plays
Missed field goal that would have gotten it to a 1 score game
Safety that made it a 3 score game

Yeah Broncos got a couple of breaks like a couple of fumbles but remember one of those fumbles the Broncos ran it in for a touchdown but because the officials messed up the call it was called to the point where it hit the punt returner. That cost us 4 points. So even when the Broncos caught a break it seemed to still go against them somehow. All the things that could have gone wrong in that game just seemed to happen. It was not our night.
