I feel bad for this kid. He was such a fan and was dedicated to be a Buckeye QB. However, the writing was on the wall when Urbs recruited 2 higher rated QBs in Martell and I forgot the stud coming in next season? I wish him the best where ever he goes. On another note, this frees up a scholly for Marvin Wilson or Tufele, or both? Urbs is really going to utlize this scholly on a big time recruit.

Anyone else wonder if this happens if we weren't so tight on scholarships? Meyer has shown he can win with a pro-style QB. But with the QB talent already committed in 2016 and 2017 ... I wonder if they didn't just let this one go.

We need to free up as many schollies as we can ....

He was never going to get any playing time with the Buckeyes. He would have been buried on the depth chart at QB. This kid is going to do well playing elsewhere. He has a great attitude and also understands the situation he was in if he stayed. What this does for Meyer, he now has that schollie to snag up one of his 5* recruits that probably wants in ( Browning, Wilson, or ?). This class is very tight with how many scholarships Urbs has left. I think we will end with Akers, Okudah, Tuefele, Lamont Wade, and possibly Browning?
