I'll say our ceiling is 13 wins with our bottom being 9. All depends on how quickly these young guys get acclimated and start producing at a high level. Go Bucks!

This is going to be tough to predict and here are my reasons.
1) A lot of new faces have to come together and learn quickly the playbook on both sides.
2) I think the schedule is tough. Bowling Green is going to be a good matchup for our new guys, luckily we have JT. I think it's a close game.
3) a bye week very early in the season IMO is never a good thing.

Again, this team is going to be loaded w talent everywhere, but the fact is many of them do not have the experience going into the season. My prediction is 9-3 or 10-2.

First impression looking at that schedule is 9-3. So many unknowns on both sides of the ball going into this season.

9-3 or 10-2 sounds about right. However, if everything comes together with the young talent on this team, the ceiling is pretty high

Figure we can use this as our season thread. Dominate win against BG today. Have to wait and see if this is a good MAC Bowling Green team or a bad MAC Bowling Green team. They like to follow good seasons with bad ones.

1. Lots of penalties need cleaned up.
2. The receiving corps is insane. So much speed and athleticism.
3. Mike Weber looks to be the real deal. He was very shifty on his cuts and ran with power. Was really close to breaking a couple of them. Curtis Samuel IS the real deal.
4. Was very happy to see Dontre Wilson get in the mix with two scores.
5. JT played as we expected him too other than one poor decision.
6. Secondary played well for all new guys. Malik Hooker gonna be a boss.
7. Lastly, I am concerned about the line depth on both sides of the ball. O line played well and opened up some holes but when Jamarco went down I found myself asking "Who the heck backs him up?" Pretty sure it was a walk on :L. D line did not really impress me. They were just ok. Sprinkle is out for the season, I think.

Jamarcus is offensive line. His injury ended up being minor.

Sprinkle was defensive line. Gonna be interesting to see who steps up in his absence.

Sorry. I didn't realize Jamarcus was injured? I wasn't able to catch the game.

Ha he went down but i think he came back. It worried me the cause that is actually our thinnest position. Our backups there are Evan Lisle and Kevin Woidke according to 11W. Never even heard those names before haha

My biggest concern is the d-lineman. They lost Sprinkle which hurts the depth. Maybe it is just an overreaction. I think they have a talented d-line but they just had a bad game and yes o-line depth is kinda weak so those starters hopefully can stay healthy.

I was just looking at the schedule. We have some very tough road games this season. This will be tough to run the board imo. However, Urbs is a master of psychology, he may be able to get this kids to take it 1 game at a time. Talent wise, nobody can touch this team, exception of Bama. The road games on primetime tv @Wisky and the following week @ PSU. Those are tough. In 2 weeks @Oklahoma.This is going to be an interesting season for sure. These young kids are going to get seasoned quickly.
