Made waffles this morning. Making these next weekend. Going to tweak this recipe a little though and grill/smoke them instead of using the oven.

I'd tweak that recipe a bit(habit lol) but otherwise it looks pretty damn good!!!

I had chipotle chicken kabobs.....they were really good, even if it was a Canadian product.

I had that overrated(if even rated anymore) BWWs last night.............Spicy garlic boneless wings. They were as hard as a brick.(I love traditional wings, but when out eating I hate getting messy).
The wife had a primerib wrap and took 3 bites and said that was enough.Hated it.
Daughter had a cheese curd burger which was surprisingly good.Very good.

I find filet mignon highly, HIGHYLY overrated. it is only good as part of a porterhouse where it bastes is the fat of the strip. Why people adore a non-marbled piece of flesh is beyond me.

Just happened to see your post searching this thread. Marbled means fat which I mostly avoid but I do like a ribeye occasionally.

I cooked a filet last night. Damn, it was good! Easy to cook, also, 4-5 minutes on each side, let it sit under a foil tent 5 minutes, and it’s ready.
