bodybuilding wise i just hear horrid things about all purpose and white, so i go wheat, and make my things from scratch to hit good macrosI don't use all purpose flour too often unless I'm making biscuits. I use white bread flour to make loafs of bread though. I've been meaning to try out making wheat bread but it seems like kind of a hassle compared to white.
I might try it because I do like the taste of wheat bread. One of the problems is that the wheat recipes tend to call for a few things I've never seen or heard of before.bodybuilding wise i just hear horrid things about all purpose and white, so i go wheat, and make my things from scratch to hit good macros
I don't mind a little olive oil (after all, there are good and bad fats) but I have cut out butter from my diet. The main thing I use flour for is the bread I make which is almost exclusively for sandwiches for lunch during the week. I wouldn't say I'm serious about bodybuilding, I just want to be in shape and healthy. I'm always open to suggestions and changing a few things around if it will improve my health though.when i do the pancakes, i make them adding protein powder, and cutting out oil/butter, the macros are great....and the pancakes are tolerable......if your serious about bodybuilding......i personally like wheat better, the white wheat i used today for the first time, big fan.......ive heard great things about using wheat pastry flour for pancakes, good nutrition, and good taste, but with the flour recall i couldnt find it
i go low fat, thats just me........its a carb bomb, i want even carbs and proteinI don't mind a little olive oil (after all, there are good and bad fats) but I have cut out butter from my diet. I would say the bread from my sandwich for lunch during the work week is like 70%+ of my daily carbs unless I make rice with dinner. I try to pair high protein content veggies with meat for dinner.i go low fat, thats just me........its a carb bomb, i want even carbs and protein
