I am not going to hate on a guy making his decision with his money- on July 4th of all days, too. What I am going to say it is unequivocably "worse" to leave a contender that very easily could have won the title a couple weeks ago, up 3-1 on a 73 win warriors team, for that very same Warriors team in comparison to Lebron's situation with Cleveland.

If you, or anyone else, was a Lebron hater based on "the decision," you sure better be a Durant hater now.

I did not hate LeBron then and I don't hate Durant now.

Forget about the teams involved, Durant has handled his business with professionalism and class, which is precisely why it does not make sense to hate him. LeBron vilified himself with the way he announced the decision and how he handled himself after. Huge difference there.

When Durant and Gs throw some huge party and declare they are winning 8 championships they will be on the same level as Lebron and Miami.

Clay Bennett is alive and well! How are the Sonics doing these days? Oh thats right, still dead!

Clay Bennett? That's a laugh. How long do you think he'll be allowed to spend his wives families money on a unprofitable sports franchise till the credit cards get taken away?

Without the Chespeake slush fund, it's over. Goodnight. You better find some Texas investor with more money than brains real fast. Although talk about a tough sell. The financials are going to be a horror show when opened up for review.

Hello NBA bottom feeder till the it's sold and moved to another city like Las Vegas. Seattle would be a perfect situation for them, but the socialist moonbats the liberals keep electing to office around here means that won't be happening anytime soon. Bunch of clowns, but so be it. I didnt vote for any of the Bolshevik tards on the city council or the district reps so that's all I can do within my power to fight the madness.

After this happened wade tweeted realationships are important people

Not sure you get what he meant by it based on all of your other comments.

Wade and LeBron were extremely tight in 2010, just like Durant, Curry and Iguodala are right now. Without those relationships, Durant would still be in OKC, yet some on here make it sound like it is all about chasing rings.

If you had the opportunity to work side by side with your best friends doing the job you loved, you would take it too. Yet, people assume that these players make decisions based solely on wins and money. That is not true.

This move doesn't improve GS imo.

Just less shots to go around and another skinny non physical player. Draymond is gonna get tired of being the mouth and muscle eventually.

And then he'll come home, where he belongs.

Honestly, I can't understand that outlook.

If they can't sign anybody else and go into the season with no bigs, then maybe.

But, they will sign more pieces. KD is better than Barnes in every way. Now their small lineup isn't nearly as small and they have a legit, go to scorer who can create his own shot in the paint and from midrange in addition to being a very good 3 point shooter. Durant is precisely what this offense lacked against the Cavs.

With a 3rd elite offensive scoring option, teams will now be completely unable to stack defenses to stop Curry and Klay. In other words, that "blueprint" everyone was touting two weeks ago Can now be torn up and thrown away. KD just made it irrelevant.

It doesn't? Substitute Barnes for Durant, you don't see a difference? Substitute a guy who has yet to live up to expectation to arguably top 3-4 player in the world and you do not see a difference?

How has Durant been anything but classy?

I get that you and others don't agree with his decision, but you can't say he has handled himself unprofessionally.

Nobody says Anything when Jeremy Lin decides to play for a team that fits his skills and provides the best opportunity for him to showcase himself. Yet, players like Durant catch crap for it why? Because he is a great player. Yet again, if he remained in OKC for his entire career and won 0 rings, he would be labeled a loser. No matter what he decides, he is going to catch hate.

Kudos to KD for being man enough to make the call that he wanted despite the crap he knew he would catch. I can respect that.

Durant can do anything he'd like but to say that money and being on a winning team didn't enter into his decision is baloney.

You don't need to defend much inside 20 feet against them. Bogut is athletic for a big and DG picks up the scraps, but neither are a post presence.

I see no improvement to a soft team.

Westbrook to GS I would feel differently, but not Durant. RW can start getting the credit he's due now though. Been overlooked too long.

What a hairless puss. Ahh well. LeHype started this colluding nonsense. It's the only way to compete against his stacked teams

Warriors got the next few ships all wrapped up. No doubt about that now

It sounds funny, but we might see a ton of that. I could see them consistently playing with a line up of Curry, Thompson, Iggy, Green, KD. KD isn't a great rim protector in that line up, but he could do good enough. I'm not mad at KD going there though. I'm excited to see that team play.

Durant will be more like a Kevin Garnett type guy for them, he doesn't have to shoot outside nearly as much as he did at OKC... Durant has a great 3 ball also but with all the shooters the Warriors already have Durant's role can be more mid range inside... This is effin exciting...

Teams can't stop Curry and Klay without Durant so your analogy is flawed.

Durant won't be happy being the 3rd option. Just my opinion.

They going to take a shot every five seconds now?

Durant as a top 3-4 player is nice in theory. His body is straight outta 1971.
