Love this league and so I've been thinking....won't it been grand if we had started like a two conference dynasty league. Say 10 in each conference, separate drafts, then have a playoff between them? At the time we started this up I don't think there was enough posters available, but now? I think we could. Guess the fact that a 14 team league, makes rosters hard to fill out, has me thinking about it. Course you could look at that as a good thing. Just a random thought. :suds:

Funny you talk about that, 'cuz I was thinkin' - this league is basically split up into two factions, with maybe a coupla 'tweeners.

On one side ya got:

The Trade-Happy Cowboys

On the other side ya got:

The Smiling Cobras

You decide who's who! :pound::pound::pound:

ya i thought my Antonio trade was a monster
Then Foot deals a franchise for Julio?

All I know is, if you deal that first rounder, you better give me a chance!:hockeysmile::hockeysmile:

Not really. He's got Gronk, so Reed was expendable, he had two defenses so one was luxury, he didn't give up his best receiver (cook) which was why we keep going back and forth, that and he didn't have a RB I wanted. Chef saved the day there by trading Gio for Sanders, that made a deal possible. He didn't have to trade Cook, I got a much needed RB2. The draft choices were mostly filler. Posters have told me their not drafting after round 2. I've offered draft picks for backups and was told no thanks. Treff considers draft picks in a trade as worthless and he's not alone.

I took the deal because I improve on D/ST, TE and RB2, but took a hit on WR, which I was willing to do.

Why would anyone not draft after round 2? I'm gonna do my homework and grab every sumbitch out there that I think might be able to help me.

So true! Must say I was impressed you were able to make a trade with one of those smiling Cobras, that takes skills on the master level. I'm still working on that.:suds:

Why not draft after round two? Because they just love their roster right down to last man. Hurts them to cut anyone, that's why. Especially for some long shot in the draft. 14 teams, how many viable QB, RB and WR in the draft? After two rounds 28 rookies will be drafted. Limited QBs as always, at the most....maybe 6 if your willing to bet on long shots. So on average 11 RBs and 11 WRs after two rounds.

I'm going to take my shots with my one second rounder and my third rounders. It's a cluster of rookies that don't stand out, Maybe I can find that gem in round 2 or 3.

Who gets drafted 3rd? 14 teams so maybe 7or 8 guesses?

Pretty slim pickin's there, bud...I think. You never know...
Depends, how many picks you making? I know you traded your first round pick. I see two easy cuts on your roster, after that watch out .

Well, I've got 3 2nd rounders, so we'll see how it goes.

Something out the box perhaps, I'd like to see expanded rosters until the NFL season starts. Kind of like they actual do in the NFL. That would give owners a chance to at least see rookies in preseason and then make a choice.

Thoughts on this idea?
