Whatever happened to Lofton? I enjoyed watching him play not even being a Tennessee fan. I remember he was diagnosed with cancer right before the draft but never heard anything after that
He got treated for cancer and I believe he's still playing basketball overseas. I'm surprise he never got a shot in the NBA.

That covers top 4 LBs.

You must be a young one. No Randy Gradishar? Randy Gradishar played in almost 100 FEWER NFL games than Ray Lewis, but has almost the same amount of tackles(in a guessing game by some media dude).

What is the Best Linebacker Award called at Ohio State?

I was in Denver during this time and I remember Gradishar routinely having over 200 tackles per season(with fuzzy math by athletes not engineers). He also served me beer in the Coors Brewery Courtesy Lounge my freshman year at Colorado School of Mines. I knew who he was, I know how to read a name tag, and when a guy is as wide as a door and built like a bulldozer, you don't forget it.

Bob Devaney
Tom Osborne
Will Shields
Ndamukong Suh

This was an extremely difficult question. I had to leave out 3 Heisman winners, two back-to-back NC winning QB's.

I will take out Will Shields and put in Rich Glover.

Bob Devaney
Tom Osborne

Rich Glover completely unblockable his junior and senior seasons(Devaney called him the greatest defensive player he ever saw). routinely double and triple teamed, and it didn't matter

Ndamukong Suh routinely double and triple teamed, and it didn't matter. He was bigger, stronger than everyone and faster than everyone except the skinny little offensive skill players. Was the Detroit Lions back up placekicker

Honorable mention:
Tommie Frazier
Dave Rimington he redefined the center position. Has an award named for him.

George Flippon a name most of you(99.99%) have never heard of

Extremely good point. When I made that post, I felt like I was forgetting a big name. Gradishar was certainly one of Ohio State's best, and also one of Denver's best, LBers of all-time.

Me too. Had a very smooth shot and was dangerous from just about anywhere on the court

That's one hell of a list. And normally I'd be mad about not including a pic of a girls name I didn't recognize, but thanks to Google images, I'd like to thank you on behalf of men everywhere for not doing so. Remarkable athlete though.

Would you rather see the images of Rowdy Gaines in his Speedo?

Somehow I'm ignoring knightandday?

No idea how this happened, how do I turn it off?
Lol. Has this happen to me yesterday and I've never ignored anybody on here yet. Just click your screen name on the top right corner and one of the options should pop up, "people I ignore". Click it and change whoever is on your list.

Hon. Mention Randall McDaniel, James Harden, Terrell Suggs and Danny White or Jake Plummer.

If it was just a college football list, it would probably be:
Danny White
Frank Kush
Terrell Suggs
Michael Haynes
