Yeah, stupid jerks. God, they were so lucky last year. That team just should not have beat Michigan and OSU and probably could have had a few more losses easily. But that goes back to that old saying -- sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
Michigan got lucky against Indiana and Minnesota with epicly poor coaching decisions.

Oh, we sure did. But neither of those cases were as bad as MSU's performance against B10 bottom feeders Rutgers and Purdue. Or MAC titans CMU and WMU. MSU also struggled against Indiana and had to score like 3 TD's in the last 4 minutes to make the score what it was.

Michigan got lucky with Indiana and Minnesota (though, Minnesota would have just taken the game to OT with a field goal try) but also got very unlucky against MSU. So maybe we were a 9 win team, or easily argued should have been. But MSU got lucky in like half the games they played this past season.

He's got scoreboard on ya, bitch.
So we should award Ole Miss the national championship then? NO argument, Ole Miss > Alabama? Or maybe, there are external factors that should be considered?

So Ole Miss is the superior team in 2015

Well if you are dumb and only look at a single game instead of the season as means to deflect a loss Michigan had, then I guess I can see why you'd say that.

Of course, Michigan St went to the playoffs and your team didn't in addition to your loss, so no matter what, you're pretty much fucked here.

Outrageous that the odds on Houston have risen from 33-1 to 50-1! I blame the bottom falling out on the price of oil! Sure can't be attributed to our recruiting class, though Demarcus Ayers declaring for the draft might play a minor role.

Not really when Bama has to play the #5, #7, #12, #14 #19 and #27 teams and Ohio State has to play #4 and #13 and that's about it.

What rankings are you using? End of year rankings with next year's schedule?

For one Saturday, yes. On the other hand, bama went on to beat every one else they played. Michigan went on to lose to OSU, who Sparty beat. But, don't let facts get in your way, sport

I'm using the OP's list. Forgot OSU played ou ooc though. But point still remains Bama has a tougher schedule.

Ah ok. You are also overlooking Wisconsin, Penn State, Nebraska, and Northwestern who are both on the list. Ohio State has 7 while Bama has 8. I would still give the slight advantage to Alabama but the gap is much more narrow especially considering Ohio State plays Oklahoma and Michigan State on the road

The transitive property does not work in this case
