Here's the problem. It may not be all Lebron, but Lebron is the unquestioned leader of that team and really that franchise. His teammates follow his lead. If he doesn't give a coach a chance, neither does the rest of the team. Had Lebron actually given Blatt a chance instead of being openly defiant, the rest of the team would have fallen in line.

Then, if the end result was that Blatt got fired, at least it could be said that the man was given a fair chance. As things played out, it's a bad look for both Lebron and the franchise.

Today's riddle.
Name every NBA coach other than Spoelstra who wasn't fired while coaching LeBron.

I heard that Thibs would have been the coach if they pulled the trigger in the offseason- but they OBVIOUSLY cant get guys that have jobs during the season right now like Cal, Izzo etc. and i personally did not know that Griffin had heard bad things about Mark Jackson and there was no chance he was getting hired-

and then felt Lue got close enough to LEBron to have it be an advantage.- once Lue had established a positive relationship with and trust with the whole locker room- it became a lot easier.

but yah- i KNOW they thought about Thibs

Thibs would have had Love in the fetal position before the end of the first practice.

Well, Griffin did say that it's championship or bust for the team, but not for Lue. Not sure how that works, but it's what he said.

Does it mean that if the Cavs don't win the title they'll blow it up and start over with Lue still the coach? Does it mean everyone's heads will be on the chopping block except Lebron and Lue? Lebron, Kyrie and Lue?:noidea:

I think Love would be the fall guy.

It will be must see TV if they crumble.

Today's riddle.

read Windhorsts article

Paul Silas was fired when LeBron was 20 years old when Dan Gilbert came in- please dont try and put that one on him for an OWNERSHIP change when LeBron was 20

Mike Brown was fired when LeBron was not EVEN WITH THE TEAM-- Dan Gilbert TRIED to contact LeBron about his opinion- but of course we all know LeBron was already gone

Obviously Spoelstra like you said

And then Blatt- who was HIREd before LeBron was even with the team.

Please explain how any of that makes LeBron a "coach killer"....seriously, im interested.

Thanks, Wamupedia!

Same to you and yours :suds:.

The Super bowl is tough for me.

Cam is such a cocky bastard. But, Damn is he good!

I would love to see Manning go out like Elway.

So, I'm rooting for the Broncos. But, I think it will be the Panthers by murder.

Mike Brown was fired when LeBron was not EVEN WITH THE TEAM--

Not 100% positive, but if memory serves, Lebron wasn't officially gone. Brown was fired and Scott hired in an attempt to appease Lebron. In fact, Scott was in the same position as Blatt, only in reverse.

Scott thought he was getting a team that was ready to compete for a title and ended up with a very young team that he was going to have to try to develop. Blatt thought he was getting a young team that he had to develop and ended up with a title contender.

I don't know if it's fair to call Lebron a "coach killer." "Coach hater" seems to be more fair since it seems that, at least so far, Lue is the only coach that Lebron has had that he actually likes.

I don't think he is a Coach killer.

But, I find the amount of influence he wields within the Cavs Organization, and the NBA as a whole, slightly troubling.

Oh, geez. We could play this game with any player.

How about this riddle: Name every coach other than Popovich, Spoelstra or Carlisle who's been with their team more than 4 seasons.

Or this one: Name me a Cavs coach other than Blatt who you want to defend as unfairly fired.

oh LeBron was TOTALLY MIA- he had not been in contact with Gilbert for a long time before Brown was fired.

Can't decide who I'm pulling for. My Mom is a Bronco's fan and I do enjoy giving her crap about the Bronco's, but one of my best friends is a Panthers fan and I love giving him crap about the Panthers.

I think it'll end up being the Bronco's because I wouldn't mind seeing Peyton go out like Elway and I can give my friend crap about it all year, I can only give my Mom crap during the game.

But it's probably gonna be a game time decision.

and who knows if LeBron will actually continue to like Lue now that he is the head coach...itll be fascinating to watch....im just glad Griffin has made the whole locker room happy, and LeBron happy by moving on- and he took away excuses for the team which was really smart...

If the Broncos D can't contain Cam it's gonna be a long game for Denver. I'm hoping that Denver takes care of business though.
