Team destroyed NOrthwestern today, they are rolling and every bit as dominant as the 4-peat title teams. Bonus points at most weight classes, they will be VERY tough to beat in B1G and National tournies

Team is hammering Illinois, but the big story is Jason Nolf PINNING the guy everyone has been touting as unbeatable in Isiah Martinez, unreal. This team is going to blow everyone away in B1G and Nationals with all the bonus point machines we have again

Penn state wrestling is cruising, just destroyed #10 Michigan 35-7, McCutcheon who was hurt vs Illinois may be back for OSU this week, Nevells who has been out all year will be back for B1G tourney, which is huge in our run for the National title. This team really is set up to win another string of 4-5 at least barring injuries.

Thought UM was ranked #6? Either way another great win.

Article from Black Shoes

A packed Bryce Jordan Center for a wrestling dual meet is a remarkable thing. Sixteen-thousand Penn Staters under one roof, relatively quiet for one moment, and exploding, full-throat, in the next as a Penn State wrestler turns a Buckeye for back points - it'll make your skin tingle. There were a lot of skin-tingling moments Friday night as the top-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions took on 7th-ranked Ohio State, and walloped them 24-14. The victory pushes Penn State to a perfect 13-0 on the season, and 8-0 in the conference

yeah, this team should be heavy favorite for National title. I believe Nevills, the RS Fr heavyweight, who has been out with inujry will be back as well, which will widen the gap even more. Zain, Nolf and Nikal are just ridiculous

Would've been a bigger margin if Cutch's knee didn't make him take a forfeit and Nevils wasn't at a tourney in COlorado just shaking the rust off getting more matches This team is hitting on all cylinders rolling into tourney time. Scary thing is, they may be better than the Taylor/Ruth teams and will be even better going forward. Cael really has it rolling

Lions dominating at B1G championships as expected. Jimmy Gulibon looks to be getting on track at right time, upset #1 and is in finals. Morelli losing and not getting an auto bid to Nationals stings, but he may get an at large. Nevills lost and will likely not make the NCAA, but we were still favored with nothing at HvyW before.

National Championships this weekend. PSU heavy favorite

Hopefully we have a big turnout of PSU fans at Madison Square Garden since its not to far from PA.

From article I read:

Not long ago it was Nico Megaludis, Quinten Wright, Frank Molinaro, David Taylor, and Ed Ruth, a group of youngsters expected to awaken a sleeping giant in Pennsylvania. All took part in giving the Nittany Lions their first NCAA team title since the 1950s. For four seasons, from 2011 to 2014, PSU was the best wrestling team in the country, doing it in style along the way. The next wave hits the mats Thursday. Might we be in for another PSU run? After redshirting Megaludis and Zain Retherford, an All-American as a true freshman, for the 2014-15 campaign, Cael Sanderson and crew have added a new crop of freshman phenoms.

Jason Nolf, from Yatesboro, Pennsylvania, is the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. The 157-pounder is 29-1, giving Illinois stud Isaiah Martinez his first collegiate loss during the regular season. Martinez avenged that loss in the Big Ten finals, but Nolf, a dynamic, hard-charging redshirt-freshman might get another shot on Saturday night. Sanderson’s other prize is Bo Nickal, a native of Allen, Texas, who, like Nolf, can score points in bunches. The 174-pounder is the top seed and owns a 29-1 record entering his first NCAA meet. Nickal showed he is for real with a whipping of Cornell’s talented Brian Realbuto at the Southern Scuffle to start 2016.

Although just a sophomore, Retherford (29-0) wrestles like a fifth-year senior. The Benton, Pennsylvania product is the top seed at 149 pounds. Like Ruth, Retherford did not reach the top of the ladder as a rookie. And, like Ruth, Retherford might just own three NCAA titles by the time he is done.

This team should be better than the one that won 4 titles in a row. More balance through the lineup and they are going to be even better going forward with the guys redshirting and coming in. Cael has it rolling, our second team/redshirting guys could finish a top 6-10 team in nation. Enjoy the ride, this is about the last year anyone has a semi decent shot at us for a while barring a rash of (*edit by Ritz, knocking on wood)

LBU hope you don't mind me editing your post. I'm superstitious and believe in jinxes.
