I think Clemson is going to come back to reality and find a way to lose 2 or 3 regular season games, and FSU will win the Atlantic division. With that said. No ACC teams in the playoffs next year.

1. Baylor
2. Ohio State
3. Stanford
4. LSU

I think everyone is overreacting to the narrative of "LSU can't develop QBs." They will be the class of the SEC next year with Alabama slightly behind them. Basically, whoever wins the LSU Alabama game is going to rep the SEC in the playoff. Not buying Tennessee, Florida, or Georgia until they show it on the field.
No they're not. It's been 5 years since LSU was able to lose less than 3 games, and it's because they can't get any kind of quality QB play despite having very good WR talent. They desperately need to fix this or they won't make it through Alabama and Tennessee.

Concur. Very hard to pull off back-to-back national championships.

... well, outside of Division III and FCS anyway.

I expect a repeat of 2010. We will probably be the best team in the country when we want to be but attitude will lose us 2 games.

I do. Clemson is basically a lock imo. I'd consider Tennessee but they really haven't proven capable of winning the big conference games recently. Not sold on OU all the way but TCU and Baylor both lose a lot. The other teams people are listing either lose a bunch of would need to improve by a TON to make the CFP. Other teams like LSU, FLORIDA, MICHIGAN have squat at QB It's not a very exciting prediction but it's what I'd say right now

Ohio St was a lock this past year, not one team is a lock. With ACC schedule and weak conference all it takes is one loss.

Clemson wasn't supposed to be good on the lines in 2015. They replaced 9 of 10 starters on the lines. With elite recruiting, lines in college can be easily replaced. And we all know that Art Briles is the best recruiter in the Big 12.

You are on crack. Tell me that last time that Baylor had a DL with 3 NFL draft picks on it. This is not Bama. Perhaps the OL can be fixed, but the DL is going to really suffer. There is nothing harder to replace in recruiting than 300 LB dancing bears.

I could see them putting two SEC teams in this year, it's going to be one of those SEC drooling and gobbling cocks.

I didn't realize OU and OSU played. I don't think two SEC teams get in. Ohio State had a lot going for them this year and they couldn't pull it off. A team will need one hell of a schedule to get in without winning their conference or at least 2 of the P5 conferences will have to be a disaster

Ohio St has a pretty tough schedule but they would still have to win their conference. They could get in with 2 losses though IMO, depending on the other top teams

Some think there were three this year...PAC 12, B1G and Big 12. I think you could also throw in the ACC. UNC takes Clem to the wire. Baylor destroys UNC without a QB. Clem whips OU pretty good and we know what OU did to Baylor....when Baylor had a QB. Even the SEC was puzzling this year at times. Hard to figure out Ole Miss, UF, Tenn and Arkie.

I think the issue has been they lost out on the QBs they wanted in recruiting. Yes, they should still be able to develop someone to be decent. But developing somebody like Harris is extremely difficult. I'm just saying, LSU returns the most in the SEC, and they won't have to rely on the QB except in the Alabama game more than likely.

I'm not saying they'd be great like they were. Baylor was easily a top 5 D line in the entire country. I'm just saying that that was the reason people wrote off Clemson this season and look what they did? I'm buying into what Baylor is doing. Whoever wins the Baylor Oklahoma game likely wins the Big 12. I give TCU an outside shot with a healthy Boykin.

OU plays Ohio St but before that open on the road at Houston. That's 2 top 10 teams in the non-con!

Clemson plays Auburn, FSU, Louisville and South Carolina. Very doable but not a lock and its extremely hard to go undefeated in the regular season 2 years in a row.

I hate to agree, but I agree. We may beat Ole Miss because we're tired of losing to them. But we will lose a game or 2 we shouldn't. Have to wait and see who leaves early and who returns, who leads the QBs in the spring and how the whole team looks in the Spring. Defense should be okay. Offense should actually be pretty good, but can the team stay hungry. Time will tell.

You serious?
Think about the PAC and who has the most talent:

Oregon has coaching issues they just aren't the same.
UCLA has coaching looking to get out of there including the HC.
Stanford will be replacing a 4 year starter at QB.
Washington isn't ready for the big stage yet.
The Arizona teams can't get their act together.
I wouldn't be on Utah.

USC has improved under Helton and I like the coaching hires he has made. If he can land a great class this year and should things will start to fall into place. Since the PAC got left out of the playoff this year my guess is the committee is going to be looking for excuses to put a PAC team in and USC seems to make the most sense to me right now. I think they have at least one loss but undefeated teams are very rare now anyway.

They're going to need strong QB play against defenses in general this year. It was shown in the Alabama game (16 pts) and then against Arkansas (14 pts) and Ole Miss (17 pts) that if you can limit Fournette, you can limit their offense. That won't change until someone steps up big under center.

Oregon- They lose early to the Nice Guys but finish skrong
UNC- Michael Jordan wins a bet

The SEC has no team with fewer than 2 losses.

Clemson will be double digit favorites vs all those teams except maybe FSU. Of course no one is,reallt ever a lock but next year Clemson will be as close as you can get. It's just asking who we THINK is going to make it. Right now Clemson, OU abd BAMA should all be favored to win their leagues. That means they'll be on the playoff, probably with either Michigan, Iowa, UCLA or Oregon. Houston will probably make it if they beat Oklahoma. Add in FSU and Tennessee and those are really the only teams I could see making the, playoff right now but there will probably be 4 completely different teams
