Carolina may go the regular season undefeated, but look at the schedule they played this season.

Sep 13 @Jacksonville Won 20-9
Sep 20 Houston Won 24-17
Sep 27 New Orleans Won 27-22
Oct 4 @Tampa Bay Won 37-23
Week 5 BYE
Oct 18 @Seattle Won 27-23
Oct 25 Philadelphia Won 27-16
Nov 2 icon_despised_thumbsdown.gif Indianapolis Won 29-26 OT
Nov 8 Green Bay Won 37-29
Nov 15 @Tennessee Won 27-10
Nov 22 Washington Won 44-16
Nov 26 @Dallas Won 33-14
Dec 6 @New Orleans Won 41-38
Dec 13 Atlanta Won 38-0
Dec 20 @N.Y. Giants Won 38-35
Dec 27 @Atlanta 1:00 pm
Jan 3 Tampa Bay 1:00 pm

Their biggest wins were against Washington and Atlanta.

They had three really tough opponents in Seattle, Green bay and NY Giants. You have to admit that their schedule was pretty much a "B" Team schedule.

Gentlemen, I hope I eat crow on this thread but Carolina is still the team to beat and we simply cannot complete a game without losing a player or two. We have the injury bug REALLY bad this year.

I don't think it matters too much who starts at WR or TE for NE. Brady has done pretty well over his career with receivers who had almost no success after they left the Pats. I know some Brady fans believe Tom could make Steven Hawking an All-Pro WR but FWIW Brady doesn't need much to succeed.

If the Panthers go undefeated good for them. It will be quite an achievement. They have started getting hit with some injuries as well. Unlike the Pats I don't think the Panthers can overcome a major injury.

Pats hopefully go out and beat the Yets this weekend, secure HFA and then can rest players next week. Then they have the bye so three + weeks to get healthy. They just can't have any more injuries this week.

I think you mean Steven Jackson because Steven Hawking is on IR.

Any news on Vollmer? This OL can't lose him, they already suck now - they will suck beyond belief without him.

Just a hellacious year with all the injuries.

Hope Vollmer will be ready for the playoffs. Ditto Edelman and Amendola. Just heard that the Pats lost both Leonard Hankerson and Asante Cleveland on waivers. Interestingly, Hankerson was claimed by the Bills. Would be really good if he has a big game against the Jets and knocks them out of the post season. Also, BB released Joey Iosefa. This could mean two things; first, Jackson is picking up the playbook quickly and will be a solid addition in the playoffs, second, with the open roster spot, we may see Montee Ball activated. The running attack would really be something with both Jackson and Ball pounding the middle. A shame about Hankerson, though. At least Keshawn Martin is looking good.

Sounds like the NFL will probably flex the Phins game to 4:30, so I'll be able to watch them after the Browns game ends. I can see the wisdom in reacquiring Dakota Watson but still hope BB also activates Montee Ball. With Iosefa gone, Jackson and Bolden are the only true running backs and I would like to get a look at Ball in an actual game before the playoffs start. Someone would need to either be released or go to IR for this to happen. Also, really interesting that ESPN recycled the story of the Phins having Foxboro swept for listening devices just before this weekend's game. Just wanted to remind everybody that the Pats are consumate cheaters, I guess. If the Pats can rise above all the injuries, accusations and hatred that have dogged them all season and get back to the Super Bowl, let's see how many people try to come up with nefarious reasons as to how they did it.

The way it is now according to ESPN if a picture falls from the wall the Pat's are responsible.
I was surprised Isoefa was cut, thought he played well. Worried about the O-line, major weakness for any run game.

Where do hear or see that?

Maps show Bronco's being forced down everyone's throat for a late game.

I forget where I heard it, but the reasoning was that the NFL didn't want the Broncos to know the results of the Pats game before they played the Chargers.

Not sure why that would make a difference for the Broncos. No matter what happens with the Pats the Broncos still have to win to keep the Bengals from taking the Bye week away from them and for keeping the Chiefs from winning the division. The Broncos have plenty riding on this game beyond just the #1 seed.

Re-signed DL Ishmaa'ily Kitchen. Released CB Troy Hill. Re-signed RB Joey Iosefa to the practice squad.
I really like Iosefa and want to see more of him.

BB staying busy. I like Iosefa as well. It will be interesting to watch BB over the next few weeks and what he does with the roster/injuries.
