Fuck that.

If you're going to put all your money on defense and be compared to the greats you can't give up 17 like that, I don't care if you're offense goes 3 & out every possession in the 4th quarter.

Calm down. Its just a game. After the last few years, they are due for some stinkers.

Wilson was pathetic against the Bengals. If he just stayed in the pocket like any competent QB he's got an auto TD win to Lockett. Guy was wide open but because Wilson was scrambling the MOMENT the ball was hiked even though there was a clear pocket he couldn't get enough arm on it to Lockett who clearly had 2 defenders beat.

If I was an offensive lineman drafted to Seattle I'd be thinking, "F this." Really wish Seattle would've stood firm and let Wilson play out his rookie contract. Now we're stuck with him for another 3 years at least until he becomes releasable.

Let's break those two plays down. First one, all Wilson had to do was lead him in a little bit because he had his guy beat badly and it would have been a TD. So, either go for the throat and throw it inside or make the "safe" throw when we don't need the "safe" throw, where it's either his guy getting it or it's out of bounds.

Second one that was underthrown. Wilson obviously wanted to go to him because he was looking for him all the way. He could step into a throw and take the hit throwing a semi-blind ball to Lockett based on anticipation or scramble so he has a full view of the field and then try to deliver it.

You see the pattern here? We're training the guy to not make mistakes instead of making plays. That's on him but it's also on the coaching. It's ridiculous. I have no concerns about Wilson throwing a sweet deep ball because he can. You just can't pay a QB 20 million and tell him not to throw a receiver open or lead him inside for the big play.

What makes you think I'm not calm? Because I said 'fuck'?

I just don't think you can blame the highest payrolled defense in the league giving up 17 in the 4th on the offense.

Well the 6 punts to close the game out didn't help either.

Umm, Seattle scored 24 unanswered at one point, Cincy came back and knocked you guys out, stop blaming, you guys got outplayed in the 60 minutes and then in OT.

Obviously. But 17 points in a quarter should unacceptable for any defense regardless of what they have going on on offense.

They stopped playing football when they were up by 17. Absolute embarrassment.

Okay, I will bite. Maybe we should expect to win every game and if they lose, they should fire the coaches and trade the players. Especially the magnificent munchkin! I am so glad to have seen the Seahawks become a good team and to win a SB. After all these years of futility. But seriously, there are some issues. Maybe they are just not as hungry? A 10am start on the road against a really good team? If they win half of those they have done well. It is disappointing to blow a 17 pt lead but give some credit to the Bengals for hanging in there.

That's not the point. They were up 17 in the 4th and had a chance to win a game against a really good football team on the road. Then they stopped playing football. You know what really good football teams do to you when you decide to start playing not to lose? THEY PUNISH YOU! We've done it enough to other teams to be keen on that fact. That's what's embarrassing about this.

I have extra bags if you guys need some. The offense did nothing to help out the defense.

I won't disagree with that. But if you're one the best defenses in the league, you shouldn't need much help to hold a 17 point lead.

I love Wilson. FACT.
He has a shit line.
Rawls proves that Lynch is just Lynch, and Rawls is good too. OK, maybe exageration. But still.
Love Lynch, but he is odd.

Bottom line, the D stunk it up and lost this game. PI or not, the D plays weak at times.
As much as our D gets credit for, they need blame too. ATL, playoff game, NE SB???? (just 2

Unlike the shark guy, I love my team, so proud of what they have done for our image.
2-3 right now. Week 9 BYE. Stated before, need to be 5-3 at bye, 4-4 at worst.

Is 5-3 at bye still possible??????

Uh, no. Cincinnati handed you guys a big lead. Then your defense shit the bed. Dalton schooled them. The better team won.

So when Seattle puts up those points its "Cincy handing it them the lead" but when Dalton scores its him schooling us?

I agree the better team won today but get out of here with that pompous attitude.

Tip my cap to the Bengals for being 5-0 and playing a good game today but don't let it get to your head. Win some games when it actually matters first.

What are you talking about?

Russell has completely shouldered the offense and given us a chance to win every game despite the obsolete offensive line.

There's no denying that he breaks out of the pocket prematurely from time to time but there are other times when he breaks the pocket and it results in a big play whether it be with his legs or him extending the play to make a big first down throw

There are very few quarterbacks that would survive under this offensive line. If anything we are fortunate we have Russell.

Shark...you can be a solid poster most of the time but other times you are the king of doom and gloom. The first one to jump ship and push the panic button.

Russell Wilson is fine. He is far from our problem.

Last season you were in love with Wilson. :dhd:
Shark is bipolar when it comes to adversity. If the Hawks go on a winning streak, Wilson will be the greatest qb ever. He's confused right now. Since when to the Seahawks give up a 17 point lead in the 4th quarter. You can't blame that one on the o-line.
