Anyone hearing anything on latest recruits, any 5 stars? Been unable to find a whole lot of information lately.

As little as we actually know about these things, I read Michigan is perceived in the lead for Gary. With the way our DL has been playing and improving, I think it would be perfect for both him and Michigan.

Rashan Gary's Crystal Ball Predictions

Now, keep in mind we were in the lead for Da'Shawn Hand... until he announced Alabama. I don't put too much stock in rumors, but I'd rather hear rumors for Michigan than another school.

I saw where Rashan's mom loved their visit to Ann Arbor and that she really enjoyed Harbaugh. Actually was quoted as saying, "he is a homie". There was also a picture posted of him in his game this week with a ][V][ towel tucked into his game pants. I'm not as worried about recruiting as I was with the previous staffs. It sure looks like they can coach the kids up and *'s in a recruiting site won't mean as much as the *'s we see put on the field.

Not to say the previous staff was great (which in the spirit of honesty, until the Minnesota game last year I was a Hoke supporter), but why were you concerned with recruiting? Hoke pulled in 2 top ten classes, and the other two classes still had plenty of talent (example A, Peppers).

Not much else going on with DTs so I think Harbs feels pretty good about Gary, Just two other have been mentioned and neither seem like possibilities.

Issac Nauta could still get pulled from Georgia I think UofM has a 30% chance.

From what I see UofM has only 3-5 more schollies without having to Grey Shirt.

Although a few may fall off if better recruits come available.

As if we didn't have enough reasons to have another big game on Saturday, from ESPN:

Kareem Walker is the No. 1 ranked running back in the country and committed to Ohio State, but this weekend he’ll be in Ann Arbor visiting Michigan.

Walker has been committed to Ohio State since January, but that hasn't stopped other teams, including Michigan, from coming after him.

Walker had some second thoughts about his commitment a few months back, but those concerns seemed to have died down. According to a source, Michigan has been recruiting Walker heavily for the past few months, finally convincing the ESPN 300 back to visit for the Wolverines' game against Northwestern.

The Michigan staff has done a good job recruiting so far, but still is missing that elite, big back to lead coach Jim Harbaugh's offense. Walker, ranked No. 22 overall in his class, would fill that void.

Michigan is also bringing in Walker's teammate, Nebraska commit Quayshon Alexander, for a visit this weekend.

It's not known yet if Michigan will succeed in flipping Walker, but getting him to take a visit definitely will create some waves on the recruiting trail.

Harbaugh and Ohio State coach Urban Meyer haven't grappled too much yet over a recruit, but this could turn out to be a war if Walker reconsiders his commitment after the visit.

The Wolverines currently have the No. 10-ranked 2016 recruiting class, featuring seven ESPN 300 recruits, including running back Matt Falcon.

Just read that Falcon is out of the question with his injury, we have him an academic scholarship offer instead so he is reopening his recruiting. This kid is done.

I believe it will be his 4th visit and likely last to any school. Can somehow land him, Nauta and Walker I'd be more than pleased with other top recruits still listing UM in top 2 or 3.

Simply meant I think most kids will stick once they commit to this staff. Last two coaches seemed to get some big names to commit then decide to flip. Hart and Henry were both said to be solid with UM then both ended up at Bama. I think kids will be fighting for the open Scholarships now that they see what JH and company are able to do on the field.

That is certainly good news. I believe there was another 5* that bumpled Ole Miss (I think) for an official at Michigan. It's not that likely we're going to pull him from down south, but it's better than not visiting.

Everyone mocked our cake shaped like Texas (sort of), but it seemed to work. Jordan Elliott commits despite the loss yesterday. ESPN has him as a 4 star prospect, #47 overall prospect and 11 DT.

Apparently the wolverines have a silent commit and one that is close to pulling the trigger.

A lot of speculation PA Khaleke Hudson could be the silent and Pie Young about to pull the trigger. But the silent could actually be any of the following:
Nordin
Crawford
David Long

The Wolverines only have a handful of schoolies left so my guess they will be selective the rest of the way. I wonder if it forces them to pass on Connor Murphy?

Report: Don Brown is UM's new defensive coordinator

Not recruiting, but huge news. Did we just get the DC for the #1 Defense in all of CFB this past year? Tell me that does not help our recruiting out? Man I was worried about losing Durkin but this may turn out to be awesome for us!
