We've had the first game with Jim Harbaugh as coach, and not single thread in the Michigan section. A little disappointing guys.

So.......only watched the first half (was at DragonCon, and I got the stankeye for watching sports), and overall, not bad. Disappointed about the lose, but I did say this was one of the 4 games I was concerned about, so not surprised. Overall there were positives to build on, defense was good, O-line play was ok, Butt will be a huge upside. But.......the reason why Ruddock was picked up from Iowa was because he was solid with the ball, did not expect 3 INTs.

I don't have fs1 or whatever the station is so I didn't get to watch the game. Hopefully Ruddock will cut back on the ints. He's still better than what we had for a qb last year, at least I hope so. Time will tell

Couple over throws on the deep ball, one the WR slowed down. A WR running the wrong route and an ill advised pass in the flat. Had Ruddock seen Isaac had a 14 yard cushion wide right on the pick 6 we may have had a different outcome. All in all the D played well, Peppers is as good as advertised. A few correctable mistakes. Should be a decent season. Still think Johnson or Isaac are the best backs at the end of the day and the WR position is in better shape than recent years. Even the players say they feel better after this lose than wins from last year. I don't see that as a statement to accepting mediocrity as much as the vision of the team is refocused on the way they play more than a fluke win. Ready to see where the season leads.

It will come together....Without the turnovers we might be discussing a different outcome....Ruddock didn't look good, and we have to be able to target someone else other then Butt....The O-line just can't get any push as of yet......

Let's see what happens tomorrow.

Looked much better today....The Power running game really didn't take effect until the second half......Ruddock making good completions early led to a lead that led to the ability to ram it up the gut.....Nevertheless the outcome was good and given time Harbaugh will right this ship....Talent will come and then it will remind us of what we have been missing for over a decade.

I've been waiting for M to Win. Ruddock had a much better performance then last weeks 3 ints, pick 6. The running game looks good. I'm so not used to that. Pinch me, am I awake? Go Blue

Much better performance week 2 (albeit against a weaker team and at home), but still nice to see them get the run game going.

Just hoping Ruddock doesn't become a turnover machine at this point.

With 3 weeks in the books, it's looking like a long season. Rudock seems almost incapable of throwing the ball downfield, is throwing INTs at a pace that would make Denard Robinson frown and will likely continue to start. I don't expect a miracle, but I was hoping for more than this out of the QB play.

Welcome to the SportsHoopla @UM Fire.. I don't expect a mirale either. A possible 6-6 season and a bowl birth is what i've been thinking

Looks like 2016, sounds like a red shirt for Shane. And by 2016 I mean his "shot" will be to compete with O'Korn, Gentry, Peters and the others. I think his best chance to be the starter at Michigan has passed.

We have to do something different. The field general role Rudock seemed suited for is not that at all. He can't accurately throw long, he turns it over far too much and scrambles like a drunk chicken. At least let a live armed young guy in ther who can add another dynamic to the offense with the same amount of turnovers.

I just can't see it where this guy is the best current option while simultaneously taking away experience from future QBs we need to get some PT and experience.

Maybe it's time to start Morris. If he sucks just put Ruddock back in

Maybe, or maybe Ruddock get his head on straight and a switch is flipped.

Though interestingly, as I was watching the end of the UNLV game when Speight game in the announcers mentioned that Speight gets mop-up time over Morris to preserve eligibility. I know Morris didn't red-shirt his freshman year, but is that a one year window? I.e., can Morris red-shirt this year and get another year of eligibility on the back end?

I think so ''Morris'' red shirting this season would be a good idea ''I guess'' Think. Some one has to do something, but who?

I Harbaugh we trust I guess. If anyone can make something from the QB situation he can, because at the end of the day all we really need out of the QB position this year is a game manager.

I, as much as any other Wolverine, would love it if the team wins all remaining games on the schedule, but even under the most ideal circumstances that would be a tall order. Better to lay the foundation this year for more success next.

Well, I saw a complete game in all facets......BYU just struggled the whole day and Michigan wore them down....I predicted a 8-4 season, quite possibly a 9-3 season after what I saw today.....I'll just say I was Impressed today(been awhile since I could say that).....Congrats to the team......Let's see how they respond to BIG 10 play.......

I agree, although I missed the first qtr. I think this was as complete a game as they have played so far. We had some good pass plays; however, Rudock still missed some wide open looks. The defense was pretty complete and deserved the SO here. Part of me wonders what would happen if we played Utah next week instead of week 1.
