When u are ranked #1 this is not how u are suppose to play. Yes over rated. Now not saying they suck. Just saying they are over rated as the #1 team.

Shit happens, especially in week 1. I don't care if Ohio State is #1 or not. All I care is that at the end of the season they are in the playoffs. Close games give your players things to work on. Blowing people out and folding to the first team capable of smacking you in the mouth is an all-to-common occurrence in CFB.

If Ohio State can answer the game is still wide open, if they happen to fall to being down 10 I think they will panic and try to make to many adjustments and hurt themselves. I don't mind Jones starting if we had a for sure deep ball WR threat but I don't think thats there yet.. JT I think may have managed some of the plays a little better..

None the less great half for VT, now it'll be who can finish in the final seconds. Who wants it more....

Longtime to wait. The guy started out running 4-4 as his base defense. Anyway, he is just a great coach.

yeah, i believe the last time i heard about it (couple years ago maybe?) is when a different school wanted to hire him as HC and he said he wasn't interested in leaving VT. that's when some reports came out stating that he's in place to be the successor down the line..

half time analysis:

David Pollack kicked ass. I like that guy, people have given him shit in the past, but he actually explained some good stuff. I felt like I learned a little bit more about the game itself watching what he said.

Desmond Howard sucked ass. Started talking about how a suspended player mattered, and then showed plays where the replacement wasn't even near the play itself saying he would have made a difference.
