I would not call OU, OSU, and KSU losses. None of those teams are definitely better. This stretch is where the season will turn. I think Texas goes 1-2 or 2-1 in those games. Its a long shot they go 3-0

I actually think Texas hits 7 or 8 wins this year (with a bowl game) but we'll see. They may have to change the AD and coach before they can really be on the road to recovery.

I'll be going to the home opener against ND this year. First time going to a game in South Bend. I can't wait. I think ND will win, but I think it will be a good game. ND has struggled under Kelly with the first game of the season, and Texas will be the best team Kelly has faced in a home opener.

This maybe the worst match-up for Texas on their schedule. I would rather bet on Texas vs Baylor or TCU, than ND. The Irish are getting a lot back from injuries on the defense, so I think that unit will at worst be an above average defense. I do not see Texas winning the LOS in that game, which means the offense will struggle. ND also has a great OL. Texas needs to keep the score down and Zaire is where they need to attack. Last year Strong was excellent at masking coverages and causing confusion. This year the back 7 is very young. I am not sure that the Texas defense will be up to speed in game 1.

From all that I'm hearing, attitude of this team has completely, totally changed from that of the past 5 years. Young, new players have come in ready to work, are working and have a bad attitude (the good kind of bad attitude).

If this team hits the field and is unrecognizable from the teams of the past few years, i.e. are bringing the pain, just remember you read it here first.

This season is just too hard to predict. It really depends on who ends up playing qb, and how good they play.
