Mueller played hard but I bet he was gonna have a hard time finding minutes with all the guards we got now. Makes sense now with Outlaw too. It was sort of crazy for him to sign on as a walk on.
He had a good stroke but I just don't think he has enough athleticism for an ACC guard.

Manny Atkins is playing in the summer league for the Detroit Pistons.
Detroit Pistons Announce Schedule and Roster For Orlando Summer League | Detroit Pistons

Always thought he had good potential. It was annoying that Greenberg was so hesitant to use him or any bench player. I haven't looked at any summer league rosters, is Jarrell Eddie on any of them? He bounced around the D-League last year and got a one day call up with the Hawks but never played in a game. I haven't looked but I think Erick Green is still with Denver. That about does it for Hokies in the NBA. I can't believe Malcolm Delaney hasn't gotten a shot, especially after doing very well in Europe. I guess he's making good money over there and is satisfied.

Malcolm Delaney played on a summer league team but basically said it wasn't worth it because he was just a practice body. He is making good money playing professionally in Europe. I read an article where he said that unless an NBA team is considering him for the team, its not worth playing in the summer or d league.

Jarrell Eddie is playing on the Pacers in the Orlando summer league.

Jarrell Eddie finishes summer league with 9.4 PPG and 2.4 RPG on 43.8% FG and 45.8% 3PT%.
Manny Atkins had 6.2 PPG and 3.5 RPG with 1.0 PPG with only 12 MPG on 54.5% FG and 33.3% 3PT%.

Saw that Eddie went on to play with the Spurs in the Vegas summer league. He did pretty well there too. I've been watching the wires to see if a team will pick him up. With a SL like that, he should have a good shot of at least getting a preseason camp invite to make an NBA roster. The Spurs would be a great fit for him too. They need cheap guys to fill out the back end of their roster since they splurged on Lamarcus Aldridge.

Jarrell Eddie got cut from the Warriors today. I saw him a bit earlier in the preseason and he looked ok but he sprained his ankle a week or so ago and that pretty closed off any shot of him making the roster. Looks like its back to the D-League for him

In some positive news, it appears Erick Green has made the Nuggets for the 2nd straight year.

First Buzz commit for 2016:

Khadim Sy, Oak Hill Academy , Power Forward

Just a three star recruit (right now, likely to bump up) but he had some solid offers. He's a PF/C with good size that we desperately need. And I love seeing us get some Oak Hill kids. It'd be great to open up a pipeline of sorts. That's been desperately needed considering its one of the premier HS basketball academies right in our back yard.

Word is this guy has improved pretty significantly each year of HS so far. Hopefully still getting better
