Precedent, huh? How about the Chargers using "sticky towels" a couple years ago and getting a $20k fine. How about the 2 teams last year that were "heating" the balls on the sideline? They got a warning. Those are the only other "ball doctoring" cases I saw. Nothing like suspensions, draft picks and fines. Goodell caved to the masses; simple as that.

He didn't get punished for cheating. Even the Wells report doesn't conclude he cheated. He got punished for not cooperating.

Why should I read it?

Frankly, I don't care.

This is not a burning issue for my soul.

I'm satisfied by the League's ruling.

I would have made it for a full season. They gave a lot less but I will live with the full 4. The appeal will be laughed off.

1st round pick. But the league went further. So that's good. 4th round pick too. Good job!

Million bucks. Light for me. I would have made it ten million.

But over all the league put its foot down to the Patriot's PATTERN of cheating and FAILURE to Cooperate.
