Whats the debate? You guys are comparing a #1 overall pick in Bradford who everyone thought was gonna be a stud(now calling him a bust) And an unproven kid who everyone wants to trade their left nut, while the right one has cancer, and everyone THINKS is gonna be a stud.

I hope my nut analogy makes sense to most

Its called comic relief. If you read all the topics you will see that debate over and over again. Please feel free to sign up and start taking everything so seriously.

But some of our posters would trade Mychal Kendriks for Dion Jordan straight up! Amazing...

Some, or one? The same one who argued Tim Tebow as a good QB prospect a couple years ago.

Also, go read my post on Jordan/Kendricks. I very clearly prefaced it with the drug concerns. Only a good trade if Jordan is on the field. Glad the Eagles did their homework and made sure it was clear where he was drug wise before doing anything.

A question.. did Chip not realize MM was coming out in the draft this year when he was in the season last year?? If so, wouldn't it have been a helluva lot cheaper to start Barkley and Trade McCoy last year after his monster year when his value was the highest, and do things necessary to be picking in the top 10 or 5 instead of giving so much away for the guy?? I mean, if he is really worth it THIS MUCH... why wasn't he last year?

Are you saying we should've tanked for Mariota? That's pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

Did we lose Peyton Manning to injury last and I miss it? That's a silly comparison.

Yea, it worked out horribly for IND and Luck.

They did not tank on purpose. Peyton had a very serious injury. The Colts just happened to get lucky that a once in a lifetime QB fell in their laps twice (actually 3 times but Elway would not play for them)

Jordan had already gotten suspended twice. This third strike only confirmed he was a moron. Anyone trading for him had to know that was possible.

lol. Your typical reaction to someone's opinion of the signing of a 4th string QB. I think one could like the signing of the waterboy to the 90 man roster and it really wouldn't be all that dumb. There simply isn't risk associated with taking a look at guys this time of year.

Swearinger does not fit our scheme. He is a headhunter type who gets fined a lot and has limited coverage skills.

He's a more of a centerfielder and not a man to man guy, sure, but he's better than what we have. He'll play with confidence back there. All the other young guys could play tentatively all year. We can't have that.

I agree he's better than what we have, no argument there. But Chip would not trade for a guy like this, he looks for scheme fits, perhaps a little obsessively so.

Im with you. I couldnt give a damn to give a reaction about a 4th string QB.. Unless of course the first 3 get hurt and he starts to run out on the field....

But you have to remember. This city, every year, suffers from sever case of backupitis. The back up is always better than the starter. ALWAYS
