Milos Raonic has won the SAP Open in San Jose, California. After a great run at the Aussie Open, the 20 year old Canadian captures the title in straight sets (7-6, 7-6).

No, his opponent was not Jerry Seinfeld.

Awesome. Verdasco is a very good player and was on a roll at that tourney. Going to be interesting to see what he can do at Wimbledon. That serve on grass will be lethal.

Yeah, only the four majors and other special tourneys have a best 3-of-5 format. The regular ATP events are best 2-of-3.

By the way, Verdasco was up 6-2 in the first set tie-breaker. Milos won six straight points to take the opening set.

Gets Mardy Fish in the Semis. Love to see him knock the stuffing out of Andy Rod-dork in the final but I have a feeling fatigue will catch up to him tomorrow.

Little bit of a dick move after the match not shaking the umpires hand after not getting that call. Not very Canadian, Milos :L

Still on the subject of tennis, Rebecca Marino won to advance to her first ever final. Not getting as much press as Milos, but maybe just as big a future star on the women's side.

I noticed that as well...I guess there is more to Canadian tennis than Daniel Nestor.

He's just pissed that Obama wants $5.50 from him everytime he flies to the States for a tournament.

Milos just won the opening set 6-4 over American Mardy Fish...The serve is dominant once again today.

Wow...Great point by Milos to win the match (I think Fish got robbed on the line call on the preceding point, but oh well).

On to the final.
