Here is the list of top 5 missed shots in NBA history and number of years they played:
1. Kobe Bryant (19, so far)
2. John Havlicek (16 years)
3. Elvin Hayes (16 years)
4. Karl Malone (19 years)
5. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (20 years)
That's a pretty good list of names playing a loooooong time.

I really wouldnt think that anyone would site this as something negative against a SG whos played so many years.
A cliche or two comes to mind in when looking at this list...
You miss every shot you are afraid to take...
Gotta take em to make em...
But mostly I'm struck by the fact that....Every name on that list was/is an All time great.
I hate the Lakers.
But, the Kobe bashing is a bit ridiculous.
Exactly...
I'd take Kobe's stats, rings and salary over a guy like Joe Johnson, DeRozan now or Reggie Miller, Alan Houston in the yesteryear.
Winning matters.
It feels like I just kissed my supermodel cousin... It's cool cause she's a supermodel, but she's still my cousin...

And that is why you aren't paid to think.
Cy Young has the most career losses. Nolan Ryan has the most career walks. Do these guys suck or are these milestones a result of longevity?
Woa. Tsssss!
anyone who thinks Kobe sucks doesn't know basketball. but this is going to be fodder for people who think he chucks the ball up to much. it just is. He is a career 45% shooter. not terrible at all from a guard. especially one known for chucking up shots.
to get this record you have to good. Favre owns the NFL int record. You don't get that record by sucking, you wouldn't last long enough.
And your answer to fixing the team is the incredibly general answer of "everybody needs to score more", gee thanks for that ocean of insight, I can barely deal with the depth of it.
The whole "Kobe's a ballhog" thing is just a tired debate, you're a couple of years behind on this one lol. You must have missed the part where he was urging his teammates to step up and be more aggressive. A lot of the Lakers seemed inclined to stand around and let Kobe do his thing for much of the early part of this season, they are starting to play more like a team in the last few games.
