The Cowboys will be able to run on your defense.

Seattle is #1 rush defense in the league AT HOME. Good luck with that.

P.S. Seattle is also a higher rated rushing team than yours while your rush defense is near the bottom of the league. Lynch is going to steamroll that shit.

Yeah no body showed up for home games before 2012.....right?

I was there for packed Kingdome games in the 1990s. Anyone who claims Seattle had no fans before Pete Carroll was hired are showing drinking from the toilet level of stupidity.

Exactly... The roughest time for this franchise were after the Nordstroms sold the team to Behring... I feel he purposely made them bad in and attempt to move the team to LA ... But looking back the Holmgren era, Knox era were fun times... I feel like Tom Flores just didn't have any talent to work with so I didn't blame him for the lack of success ... Dennis Erickson just didn't seem to mold well in the NFL... But he did get jacked the one year missing the playoffs from the phantom Vinny Testaverde touchdown vs the Jets.... But to say fans didn't pack the house back in the day is crazy... Behring era was the roughest time...

Fuck, thanks for bringing that up. I've been trying to repress that whole game for the last 15 years.

Flores was the GM for 6 years, he is the reason they didn't have any talent. He did draft Tez though.

Man nothing worse then a shyster owner who is bent on moving the team. So glad the Seahawks have survived that and lets celebrate the Allen Era, this is the golden years, so glad I lived to enjoy it.

Yet the stands were still full, even the last couple years of the Behring reign. I remember many of those games well. I laugh at the other team homers, especially the east coast ones who know nothing about about the Seahawks history making cracks about how there were no Seahawks fans a couple years ago. Morons.

At least the AFC west fans around the 80s and 90s and NFC west fans who weren't born yesterday know the reality.

Yeah but how much control did he truly have under Behring.. The team was being ripped apart with no talent and rumor has it Behring was making draft picks... But thankfully we drafted Dan McGuire instead of Brett Favre...

NP... Yeah that was definitely one of my meltdown moments.... I lost control.. Biggest crock of shit call ever... But hey the Seahawks and Jets brought back instant replay because of that play... So something good came out of it...

I already said the Seahawks will eke out a win over the Cowboys this week because of home field advantage. I also predicted the Cowboys would win their division before the season started. I take winning and losing in stride because of the great tradition established in Dallas.[/QUOTE]

I'm sure their tradition of losing has trained you to take losing in stride.

I didn't realize by bringing up the Fail Mary Pass that I'd get such a negative response. It must be like pulling a scab off an old wound.

Weak lure.
You have made as many posts regarding that catch as all others have in this thread.

As long as they don't go back to letting Romo hold for the kicker anymore we shouldn't see any more of this...

Hmmmmm ... I luv it when the pot calls the kettle black ... Seattle first played in 1976 and didn't win a SB until ... let's see, when was that ... oh yeah ... 2013 ...

get over yourself ...

nice car by the way, one of my favorite versions of the Vette ...

I am a bit older, it seems. My dad had season tickets in the mid 80's through the mid 90's. Went to quite a few games and I can say that EVERY game was packed. As others have posted, fans started to not show up when Behring tried to kill the team just to move it to L.A.

I love it when a poster comes to a team board, sees someone saying something about their team that's clearly in response to trolling, and takes it personally.

nothing personal about it ... he made a comment ... I responded ...
as for trolling ... if you think anything GnGis doing is trolling, you gentlemen and ladies haven't seen nothing. There is nothing wrong with a little banter between fans. And the title of the thread is Seahawks vs. Dallas, does this mean no Dallas fans are allowed to post and counter??? ... Geeeesssshhhhhhhh ...

I don't believe my view of the game matters, but I believe the Boys are overrated (eeking out a couple of wins against so-so teams, and so far, New Orleans has been way below par) and Seattle is definitely one of the better teams this year ... I don't believe the game will even be close, but you know how it goes ... any given Sunday.

now, is this a sports thread or not and can we please dispense with this whole trolling nonsense ... it's not meant to be a love fest ...

You seem alright, man. Same with gng. I'm just saying that Uh was just talking some shit back to a boys fan and you coming with "pot calling a kettle black" just seemed a bit ironic.

Seriously though, I prefer the NFL gen board because you can talk all the shit you want. But they dont allow that stuff on these team boards. Really it makes sense, because that just leads to the boards becoming flooded with trolls instead of good posters like yourself and Uh, it reaches a point where good conversation is impossible to find, or keep once you find it.

I know that it seems kind of pussy, but it works. Everyone has a board to talk football (team boards), and everyone has a board to talk shit (gen board).
