Spoken like a true hater. Sorry but Luck is not on Wilsons level just look at stats and YPA not total yards also rating, comp % TD% and INT% Wilson wins every one of those over Suck lmao. Rivers is not a leader he is a crybaby. He has had all kinds of weapons in SD so his numbers should be better but lets look at that will we.

Wilson averages the past two seasons
TD 26 INT 9 Yards per Att. 8.09 Career rating 100.2
Rivers Averages the past two seasons
TD 29 INT 13 yards per Att. 7.54 Career rating 92.3

Rivers had a great season last year but this will not carry over. His time playing at that level is coming to a end. He had a return to his 2008-2010 form and had his best season ever. Do not expect it to happen again. As far as Wilson goes, we have not seen the best out of him yet but even so his numbers are better.

You might sway me on Rivers, but you are not going to sway me on Andrew Luck. Also, if Cam Newton has another season like he did this past season, I would put him in the discussion. He's just not consistent enough to be in the discussion.

I gave Wilson Top 10 at worst. I would say that's not bad.

We have pointed out numerous time that the Seahawks had statistically one of the very worst offensive lines in the league last year. This notion that you have to make excuses for Luck, or any other QB for why their numbers are worse is ludicrous. Seattle does have a top flight running game, but third and long is the same on every team whether they can run it or not. Everyone knows a pass is coming. When that happened Wilson delivered incredibly well despite collapsing pockets and running for his life while trying to complete the play.

Weapons? I can name a dozen teams with a better receiving corp.

Wilson overall has the best stats over the first two years of any active QB and I'm not aware of any QB in history better. That, despite having a garbage Online and average receivers.

Is he a top 3 QB right now? No. He hasn't been in the league long enough to put him up there. To deny what he has done and the situation he did it in says you only saw highlights and didn't actually watch him play. That, or you are a football retard. Only two options.

Russell is every bit as efficient when he is called upon to throw the ball 30 + times. Luck may have the talent and the build and stature that every gm dreams their QB should have...but Russell has simply been the better quarterback in his first two years.

Throwing a decent amount in a game isn't the same as throwing a lot in a season. When teams are game planning to stop the pass because that is your offense week in and week out, that is substantially different than having an offense built on the run that happens to throw it a lot one week.

You would have to substantiate that with some sort of facts. Show me a list of QB's that don't pass as much and their percentages against those in heavy pass offenses and theirs and then maybe you have an argument on JUST that stat.

I would argue that more of Wilson's passes come on obvious passing downs which makes his ability to complete the play harder than an offense where the pass can come at any time. Again on 3rd and 10 everyone in the building knows a pass is coming and Wilson had a shit line to defend him.

I have no problem with Sando's rankings other than putting Romo in a tie for eigth. I do think Wilson nust needs another good season and we'll see him in the top 5.

funny how when Wilson throws 30+ times and puts up better numbers than Luck in every way possible people say that is an aberration. There is just no winning here lol. Wilson only gets better when he throws more, Luck gets worse. Wilson is the smarter QB with better ability all he is missing is Lucks size. That's the ONLY area Luck has an advantage ( His size ) yet he is worse in every way when looking at Stats even though he has had better talent to throw to. Wilson is a career 100.2 rated passer Luck is not even Close at 78. They are not even CLOSE people.

We have shown you 8 games where Wilson has thrown as much as luck and his numbers "IMPROVE". Wilsons hands are tied in this offense but when he does get his chance to throw more he is even better. So you bring up how Luck completes a lower percent of his passes but ignore that Wilson Completes a HIGHER percentage when he gets 30+ Attempts. LMAO what type of logic is that.

See the Key here is Wilson gets better than his career rating as his passing attempts go up, Luck gets worse.
