Jordan Taylor's jr year was technically one of the best offenses we've ever had (going by PPP, not PPG).

But yeah, this looks like a very good offensive team and average defensive team. Bo obviously catering towards the rule changes.

has a lot to do with our personnel too. Make sense to play quicker since for the first time in ages we lack size. however this team is lights out 3pt shooting. every guy in our starting lineup can make shots. which is huge. there is no one guy we need to rely on, different guy every night!

Impressive grind it out win against a very good St. Louis team. Nice to get a win even with Brust and Dekker having off nights. Even better to see this team win a game when the offense wasn't clicking the way it has been to start the season(three or four made 3's, I believe).

Does anyone know if George Marshall isn't good to go yet, or has he just been passed by Koenig?

Time to move from our football team to basketball now I guess. Well at least we have a chance for a chance for a sweet 16 team this year. I hope this coach doesn't pull another one and done and lose to a no name community college again. It will be tough for him to achieve this annual choke job with this caliber of an offense but it wouldn't shock me.

Bo has lost twice in the first round of the NCAA tourney. His losses are to Ole Miss and Arizona.

It's funny that you think those are community colleges, because neither of them would accept you.

I'd call him an idiot, but insulting idiots by lumping them in with him would be wrong.

Fuck that douche. All he does is come here and rag on Stave and act like he's the supreme knowledge of sports. The truth is he's an idiot and doesn't know jack shit about college athletics. It's beyond him that they're amateurs and the coaches deemed him their best option. He's not there from August at every practice and meeting and doesn't have a clue what goes on. He just comes here and pipes up his stupid shit, basically believing that every loss the football team has taken has been Stave's fault. He's a fucking moron, and should stfu. Other than that, I don't have much to say about that douche.

Badgers started the week ranked #8 and got two solid wins (@ Virginia, Marquette).

#1 Michigan State got killed at home
#3 Kentucky got their second loss
#6 Kansas lost again

Don't look now,but the Badgers have a fighting shot to be top 5. They'll probably have to "settle" for #6. We haven't been this high, since what, Spring 2008?

Apparently George Marshall transferred out. I can't say I blame him, he got passed by Koenig. I feel bad for him that he just couldn't figured it out to consistently see the court. I wish him the best at whatever school he chooses to transfer to.

Thank your for relieving your true colors with belligerent name calling and talking for me. Stave is terrible and unless a person has never watched football in their lifetime they would agree with this statement. Feel free to defend Stave on the main boards and they crush you just like Penn St. did last week. If giving honest assessments is acting like I know everything about college football then I am guilty. Are you there every practice? I watch the games and from view point of wanting a QB that gives us the best chance to win well Stave is not the answer. If you feel otherwise then I pity you. Sorry, you're wrong as I do not blame every loss on Stave however he his a major factor. Please control your anger in the future and maybe give a little honest criticism of your team once in a while instead of feeling bad for poor young players ineptitude and defending them for illogical reasons.

What's really funny is you actually defending these L's. Ole miss hasn't won in over a decade and lost the next game to La Salle. AZ lost their next game as well. He's also orchestrated magnificent losses to #12 Cornell as a 4 seed, #10 Davidson as a 3 and #7 UNLV as a 2 seed. He has 0 upsets that I can recall and has been beaten by a lower seed I believe either 5 or 6 times. All this despite 5 Big-10 championships and multiple coach of the year awards. This is a drastic underachievement by the standards set with his seeding, accolades and regular season performances. There is no reason to deny this unless you're in fact a homer which I have no issue with.

I apologize for not being able to decipher your gibberish. However, banning me for posting substantiated claims with facts and stats is not a legitimate reason. If anything I should have banned Moab weeks ago for his consistent swearing, name calling, etc.

We should be ranked #4 (Parish on CBS agrees with this) but we will end up at the or 6 spot.

Smart, one and done means you win the first but lose in the second round.

No, it doesn't. It means you play one game and then you are done.

When people say Julius Randle and Jabari are likely "one-and-dones," they aren't saying they will come back for a second year.

Bo, over the years has performed exactly to seed. People say it proves his teams are overrated because they didn't make a Final Four, but again, he's never had a 1 seed.

His best team has been a 2 seed, and he's made 1 Elite Eight (just like his seeds would suggest).
He's been a 3-4 seed four times, and he has lost in the Sweet 16 four times (just like his seeds suggest).
He's been a 5-8 seed five times, and he has lost in the Round of 32 five times.
He's been a 9-16 seed twice, and he's lost in the First Round twice.

His teams have matched his seeds perfectly. That's one big reason Badger fans should be excited for this year, where we look to be heading to a 1-3 seed.

I am not suggesting overrated teams because of not making the final four. That's an excellent perspective in terms of judging his performances. Unfortunately, this point of view neglect the favorable games he has lost. If you look at the way he's performed in terms of being the favorite or underdog he has lost 5 times as the favorite and never completed an upset. I know he doesn't control the teams he faces in terms of match-ups but it's how the cards were dealt. I am not saying he's a terrible coach at all and I have had faith in him when it comes to the Big Ten, however he will never outperform his seed and more than likely will underachieve as his past history indicates.

I am very excited about this season more so than any other since we actually have an exciting offense that can run up the score for a change. I will still be realistic in my belief of where they will finish this year though as they will most likely end up with a 2 seed and in the elite 8 at best or a 5 seed and exit in the sweet 16 at worst. I really hope to see a final four again as that was a magical time as all the experts were picking us to lose in almost every game. It actually helped me during my bowling championships as I finished 3rd place in state for YABA as it took my mind off bowling.

I hope I am wrong but as I hope for the best but prepare for the worst. I appreciate you for being able to carry a mature conversation as all members on these boards should.

Negative Nancy would be me predicting not making a bowl game or never complimenting any players or saying they will lose the first game of the tournament. However I have been realistic and if anything a Positive Polly as I predicted a Orange Bowl even after the OSU game. I have only been critical of 3 players and have propped up the coaching staff all year with exception of the final game. Also I projected the Badgers could end up as high as a 2 seed this year and an elite 8 appearance. Who is V:wtf2:altimore?
