You can't be serious...

That team beat more ranked teams than Nebraska and totally destroyed a damn good TOSU and Michigan team. I hate PSU, but they would have taken everything the Huskers could have thrown at them in 1994 and 1995. The 1994 PSU team was one of the best Pro set teams I have ever seen play to date.

Damn, you're stupid.

Penn State beat USC (13), Michigan (12), Ohio State (14), and Oregon (11).

Nebraska beat K-State (19), Colorado (4), and Miami (6).

Which of those is more impressive?

Says the anonymous internet asshole who adds nothing to the conversation.

Look, no need to throw out the personal attack on such a subjective debate as this.

Both are damn impressive, but I'll go with PSU on this one. Can't really remember how good K-State or Colorado were at the time. Miami was a great win.

Colorado started the season at 8 and that was the worst that they ever were. They got up to 2 at one point.

66' "GIANT KILLERS" OF DEE ANDROS BEAVERS...none better.

Took down OJ Simpson and the #1 USC Trojans @ the time 3-0 in a mudfest IN Corvallis, Oregon, thought that would be FINE fact given whats happening this Friday nite.

Actually I contributed the analysis of your intellect after reading a couple of your posts, you just didn't like the outcome. If you wanted to make a debate your best bet would've been 71 Huskers, 01 Miami Fl, 04 USC. Instead you picked the dying horse with three legs for the race.

most of the champions over the last decade. players are bigger, stronger, and faster at every position than they were in the mid 90s. top teams now would have individual edges in probably 16-18 of the individual battles. that's a lot to overcome

The MID NINETIES???? We're talking about dome of the biggest, fastest monsters to ever play football. The NFL greats you knew and loved in the late nineties through to tday... Ray Lewis anyone? Tony Gonzales? TO?? Randy Moss? Jeeze man...

I also love how people just rattle off a list of teams with no justification to back it up.

That 1916 Cumberland team was just crazy. John Heisman coached Georgia Tech had 0 first downs against them.

But my perception is reality..... do not question reality, Mr. Anderson.

Really, I think there are a handful of teams that could legitimately challenge them. But my perception is that they are invincible. :laugh3:

Thinking about the 90's teams is fairly depressing considering our current situation, and non current as well
