That was absolutely pathetic. Ryan is going to get a lot of grief, and rightfully so, but the bulk of this falls on Payton and his horrid play calling.

Yeah, the play calling was horrible for trying to move the ball and run out the clock, and the defender threw the Pats player out of bounds to stop the clock when they had no timeouts.

Therefore, horrible clock management.

I don't get why you play man to man coverage there when you know they only could go to the endzone? If they throw it over the middle there it i game over. In that case you have 5 guys play man and the other 3 playing prevent in the endzone
