Hypothetical Question: So if they just recruited a Child molester, unknowingly, they cant release him until he molests a child? Can they even release him then? I doubt the NCAA would force Penn State to keep a Criminal...

The scholly doesn't give one the right to play football. It gives one the right to a free education/board etc.. in trade for playing football. Penn St is required to continue providing that free ride regardless of an existing football program. If player were to do something that would break the code of student conduct and make himself academically ineligible to attend class or be on campus than they can cancel the scholly.
