Best VT QB of all time. This one should be easy. We will limit these players to the last 30-40 years...

Vick was awesome but if i had to make a team, honestly id put Tyrod on my squad. He became a very good passer who could run and make plays.

Completely agree 100%. Tyrod had some moves..and some great plays, but noone stood out like Vick. Although Randall wasn't as "flashy" as these two guys and is already somewaht forgotten and an afterthought my some..he was #3 in the last 20 years, hands down IMO..

soon to be #4 .. after this season, there will be no doubt as to the top 3 QBs in the past 20 years

Gotta be Vick, mainly for the way that he brought VT to the national stage.

If you're talking about contributions on the field, would have to be T2

I think Vick had a much better arm than TT. Tyrod's passing abilities weren't much to write home about up until his sr year. We all gave TT a lot of credit for his efficiency, but don't forget that Vick led the nation in that category as a freshman (setting a freshman record and 3rd highest all time).

Arm strength I would give to Vick, Tyrod as a senior was very smart with the ball and pretty accurate. I also keep in mind Vick was still a shock to the system of the teams he played because there just werent as many true dual threat QBs 13 years ago as there were 2 years ago when Tyrod was running around. Teams have developed ways to combat against them which makes a big difference. If Tyrod came out in Vick's spot in '99, I think we would be saying a lot of the same things about TT that we are about Vick. Just watching the game management is what made me choose TT over Vick if I was making a team and had the 2 to pick from. If Vick had been around for 4 years this conversation would be drastically different I think with the maturity he would have gained.

I totally understand where you're coming from, but again, one was the 1st overall pick and has been an MVP in the league, while the other is still waiting to see the field... Although to his credit, Tyrod is forced to sit behind 'the best QB in the league'

I ask b/c when we get to RB's...well, Kevin Jones, Lee Suggs...dont really think i need to elaborate

Michael Vick was SO much more talented than anyone he played on the field. I've never seen another college player since Vick that was that much better than everyone else. The other quarterbacks in this list had their moments, and they earned Tech and conference records to go along with those moments. Vick is the only answer for me though.

I see one pollster who must be one of the following choices:

a) related to Jim Druckenmiller
b) voted for Druck as to say "I knew about VT football before it was cool"
c) is drunk
d) is Jim Druckenmiller

Or some combination of these...

And for the record I am infuriated that Glennon was left off that list.

He was there for a moment, but once you get a negative five votes, you're removed from the list.

Are you serious? The only time Glennon performed halfway well was when he felt the heat of someone else challenging for playing time. He was so very inconsistent and had a terrible attitude. No way he deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the other QB's listed.

I still contend that this school and its fans... just weren't ready for a white quarterback.

It's sad to say, but it's true. I think Tech grew up quite a bit during Glennon's time, and now the fans have accepted white players as true members of the team, capable of playing any position. Whether it be trainer, punter, long-snapper, kicker, backup kicker or punter, fans have come to accept that white players are just as capable as black players... just look at Cody Grimm and Danny Coale. Without trailblazers like Glennon, who knows if they every would have achieved what they did.

EDIT: This is a joke btw... we've been on this kick where everything is taken in its most literal meaning lately.
