I think it's pretty obvious Jrue will likely go to Miami or the 6ers.

Clippers will collect their cast off on the cheap.

.....unless the Celtics serve up White or Williams.

Can't see the Blazers taking multiple years of Brogdon when Lowry and Harden are expiring.
They could get to the finish line on Jrue by trading all of those expiring wings and the two first round draft picks they have.

Who?

You must be talking about your 6ers.

This is as close as I will ever get to seeing Jrue in a Clippers jersey.

Batum, RoCo, Morris plus 2 1sts.

That’s close to 40 million of expiring contracts. I think Portland is going to value the ability to get under the luxury tax for a rebuilding team. I think that deal will be as competitive as anything out there for Holiday. I guess we will see.

Clippers won’t pay that.

When things go tits up with Kawhi and Pg, Jrue could end up as a 1 Season rental.

We are still paying the Thunder for giving them the guy who could turn out to be the best player in our franchises history.

Nope.

Clippers are scouring the garbage bins for leftovers.

They will take the guy who gets banished in the Jrue trade.

Harden, Lowry or Brogdon.

Jrue is a all in move.

You don’t go all in when you are the land of broken toys.

Getting Jrue would signal keeping those guys long term.

I don’t want that.

Fair. I respect the position. You know your team better than I do. I just assess the Clippers as wanting to chase that original Kawhi and PG investment they made.

One thing we can agree on…is that they can’t hedge right now. They should go all in on making that investment stand up or they should tear it down right and ship out Kawhi and PG Pre season before they get hurt again. Worst thing you can do is straddle the fence.

Oh bullshit, he was “loyal” as long as it meant more money. There is no bad guy here, it’s business. Things had swung way too far one way, if you don’t want to play somewhere don’t sign the contract. It’s that simple.

Don't request a trade if you're going to be butthurt when you get traded.

Would the Spurs trade for Jrue to bring along their young team? The Jazz could be interested too.

Yeah, you might end up traded to a championship contender to partner with a perennial MVP candidate.
He didn’t get to dictate everything was my point. Don’t take the supermax and think you are going to get everything your way.
