Full props to the announcer for staying professional during this delivery...The only way this could be better is if Bobby Cox was still managing the Braves.

Why didn’t they just trade the 3030 1st round pick? Geez you have to love NBA trades.
Exactly, because who gives a fuck? Are you gonna be here managing this team in 8 years? Probably not. And if you are it's because trading those picks made your team successful and nobody can say shit.

NHL is creeping there, trading picks two years ahead has happened but they're also usually for half-ass defencement (Florida for Chiarot, Toronto for McCabe etc.). Next time a superstar's on the block I want to see some 2030 picks on the move.

/Some NBA execs have said that they prefer moving the long-term picks because keeping the near-term ones gives them the ability to add cheaper talent around their stars and stay competitive for longer. Which seems like a no-brainer for the cap-crazy NHL execs to latch onto.

About time and maybe they can make a viable product and a better feeder system to the NFL.

Curt Schilling apparently leaked on his podcast that Tim Wakefield has brain cancer. Wakefield's are pissed & the Red Sox had to put out a statement saying they're pissed.

Fire the guy into the sun, there's no saving him.
Curt's wife was my brother's high school crush. For about 15-20 years when Curt would do something, usually good, I'd torment my brother saying she could have been with him. We'd have a laugh comparing careers and salaries. Nowadays I am not sure my brother looks too bad. Then again, I dont know Shonda, maybe shes batshit crazy too.

XFL 3.0 bites the dust, get out the shovel and start digging the grave...

They just need to hang up this spring football idea.

No other professional football league will ever compare to the NFL and be successful in the US.

These guys are making a few hundred bucks a week. You get what you pay for.
