Nah, it's short term coverage for Yaz and Haniger more than anything else. And some middle infield org depth.

Not a waste of time, just not the big move we are hoping for.
I feel exactly the same as if we hadn't made a trade at all

Giants looking more so at track record than '23 performance especially as it pertains to his career numbers against LHP (121 wRC+) -If it does not work out, both the $ cost & potential prospect capital will be minimal if they cut ties

He's been a bum ever since I saw him be one on the White Sox. Total waste of space.

We already have an outfielder that hits lefties.

It's not a bad trade it's not a good trade. It's meaningless.

FZ better not fuck this up.

Teoscar is a rental having a somewhat down year. He shouldn’t cost us a solid prospect to get. And we have a history of dealing with Seattle…

He's worth a shot. Has power, RHH. Wonder how much he will cost?

No idea what Seattle needs…

Sugastay? Bart? McCray (too much?)? Meckler (too much?)? Dabovich? Ramos?

Maybe 2 from that pool or similar players?

If he doesn't cost a lot this would at least be an ok move. His OBP (and OPS and OPS+) this year are not good

But unlike Pollock it's better than nothing, and he was quite good in Toronto as recently as last year

Giants discussing Bart. Possibilities are Carlson or Burleson from Cards.

Tzill What does he offer not as familiar with him as I used to be about players around the league.
He was an all star as recently as two years ago. He's having a really bad year, so maybe FZ is thinking buy low?
