Hooplas biggest Cardinals homer.
That was last year so who knows how accurate that is now. And that only happened after he found out the team was actively shopping him.Yep, which is why he has a list of teams he’s willing to go to …

It is only speculation from a ESPN beat writer trying to scratch up a story via the trade machine. Not true,
Carr, Abram and a draft pick for RW.....
Wild Proposal Has Raiders Trading QB & Starting DB for 9-Time Pro Bowler
This would be a wild trade for the Las Vegas Raiders to pull off.heavy.com
I get what you're saying but finding a viable replacement for RW won't be an easy task even in a good QB draft.Doesn't seem like most are thrilled with this years crop of QBs so missing out isn't too bad. If the Seahawks are that horrid, the following draft is suppose to have a much better crop of QBs. At least that is what the experts say.
You don't realize last offseason he had a list of teams he'd be willing to go to?RW has a full no trade clause so he could reject any trade to a team he doesn’t want to go to.
You said: "No team can send a viable QB in return."It is only speculation from a ESPN beat writer trying to scratch up a story via the trade machine.
Still, it is much more realistic than the stupid NYG, Philly, Washington trades I've seen bandied about. But nothing to indicate either franchise has any interest at all in making such moves.
LOL at viable QB.You said: "No team can send a viable QB in return."
Just pointing out that isn't true.
Not really, not anymore.LOL at viable QB.
Shoot, Dalton is considered as a viable NFL QB
LOL at viable QB.

You don’t realize that was last off-season and shit changes over a year? You don't realize last offseason he had a list of teams he'd be willing to go to?
What has changed really? You don’t realize that was last off-season and shit changes over a year?
Raiders have a different coach, the Seahawks aren’t actively shopping him. What has changed really?
Check out the article I posted.Raiders have a different coach, the Seahawks aren’t actively shopping him.
Correct. That option would bring back a viable QB. I didn't incorporate that into my previous statement because I hadn't heard it before. But I did already acknowledge it.You said: "No team can send a viable QB in return."
Just pointing out that isn't true.
LOL at desperate. Writers speculate.Correct. That option would bring back a viable QB. I didn't incorporate that into my previous statement because I hadn't heard it before. But I did already acknowledge it.
At the time my statement was based on rumors from the NYG, Philly, New Orleans, Tampa, Washington, Miami, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Houston, Denver, Minny, Chicago, etc. etc.
My statement that the Raiders option, while being more realistic from a talent standpoint than the other pathetic rumors, is still only a team beat writer deperate for offseason material still stands. There isn't anything to indicate it is more than that.
I guess but the Raiders not having the same coach as last year won’t change.Check out the article I posted.
We all know Seattle not actively shopping him can change in an instant.
Of course writers speculate. That is why I don't take an article like that seriously. And yes, the beat writers do get desperate for material in the offseason. I don't see why that statement is at all controversial.LOL at desperate. Writers speculate.
Sure, it's a proposal but if you're Seattle.....that offer isn't tempting or make you think twice?
That was last year so who knows how accurate that is now. And that only happened after he found out the team was actively shopping him.
They were serious enough to were John Schneider had a deal in place with the Bears before Pete came in and said noWhat do you mean by actively shopping him ? I don’t think they were ever serious about moving him last year from the cap hit, Russ was the one who brought it up in an interview and then listed teams … My guess is they try to restructure his contract, if that fails they’ll listen to offers BUT only move him if the deal makes sense for the future… It’s gonna be interesting, wouldn’t surprise me if he’s traded and it won’t surprise me if he stay’s…
Good point. I'm sure there's some smoke to these trade talks but I feel it's more media driven with the off-season upon us. I don't see RW going anywhere this year but if it's another crap season then I can see the FO moving on and going to a full rebuild.I get what you're saying but finding a viable replacement for RW won't be an easy task even in a good QB draft.
The point is, the longer the uncertainty the longer and more difficult the task becomes for the teams' draft/FA strategy.
Personally I believe RW will be a Seahawk next season.
Oh and don't forget a QB picked #199 did pretty ok in this league.
