Can’t understand why.

Perhaps I spoke about Beal out of context. I'm assuming he wants to go to a contender, but I can't recall for him ever holding management's feet to the proverbial fire.

If you lost Lebron to injury, you look at the Lakers roster and it's basically a hodge podge of talented players thrown together, but it'd be a lot of work for Vogel to do to get it to work. So, yes, you're absolutely correct.

Lakers are better suited to handing such a situation now with Russ onboard than they were previously.

Depending what they gave up, though, sure...wouldn't hate it at all.

No, big men take longer to develop.....he'll have an adjustment period like Wiseman did in GS.

he is the real deal he can impact the Cavs from day 1. Even if has to develop, he still impacts them, just an extra piece that will get plenty of playing time. The Cavs have already improved from last season, not counting all the younger guys developing.

Even if Sexton were to level out, if Garland, Okoro improve --adding Mobley. That is an improvement in itself. I know you remember, the Cavs got royally screwed with injuries after starting the season hot...and it lasted pretty much all season. Not depending on Love as well should help a lot.
